Did you know your city pool center (at least mine) does swim lessons for 20.00 for residents . The cost to me has never mattered with lessons but they do a good start of smaller group lessons like maybe 2 to 3 babies in the pool

She might not remember the experience, but all the happiness she's feeling does stay with her and affects her development , so it matters if she's enjoying herself even if she doesn't remember when she's older

Story is so cute and at her tender almost 1 year age she gets to experience traveling with too fun! She is oh soooo cool and she is naturally enjoying the water adventure so much! Don’t ever let anyone tell you Story won’t remember this. Memories are stored in our nervous system and non verbal parts of our brains at this age. The love, sense of adventure, nature and social interactions she is experiencing will all get stored, remembered and become part of who she is what she associates with safety not to mention all of the great things it’s doing for the development of her brain in general.

She won't really remember it, but it's still good to do nice things with her even at such a young age :) It will help her develop a close bond to her parents and learning how to swim early is really important :) And even though she won't be able to recall all these things later on, she'll be able to watch videos and photos and she's gonna love that :)
And yes, doing a lot of new things and seeing a lot of new things will help her brain development :)

I loved today's video. I laughed when she was playing "Where is Story?" and she would hide behind under the table. Her sense of humor is wonderful!❤❤❤
Also, may I suggest you enroll her in professional swim lessons? She will learn how to flip herself over if she accidentally falls in. Aqua Tots has classes in Gilbert and Mesa.
Story might not remember all the details of this trip, but she'll sure remember how loved, and safe, and happy she is! 💞

Story was saying like gali gali gali...in Karnataka where I live gali means wind... if u noticed that part when she was saying that.. u could hear the wind.. that moment I felt like she was born here in her previous birth❤

I have watched you for over a year ..I just have to say how proud I am of the two of you. The words I write will never compare to the journey you both have been through. Definitely swim lessons! No other option but ISR. Comfortable in water with no actual skill is the most dangerous combination. There needs to be a healthy strong fear. My ISR trained 2 year old could save himself in water…yet respects & fears water enough, he typically chooses not to join in the pool, just plays on the deck. And that’s totally ok!

We've had SO MANY drownings or near drownings in the last month with at least 1-3 per week here in Arizona. PLEASE have a professional train Story how to swim and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure your home pool has a safe fence around it with a working lock that she can't reach even as she gets older. I'd hate to see her become another statistic here in Arizona.

Every baby should have survival swim lessons both of my grandchildren have had them they lean to turn on back and float
So important. There have been four toddler drownings here in the past two weeks. One was a set of twin girls. So sad, I can't even imagine.
They said they were going to in the video they know about lessons and they know what to do and they are planning on doing lessons
