I grew up in the East Bay and have probably tried every place in Oakland Chinatown! Here are my top 5 favs over the last 20 years!

Thank you for a very informative video. I happen to live RIGHT down the street from Oakland Chinatown. I remember before the pandemic I used to go to that bakery that makes the best egg tarts, EARLY on a Saturday, when they barely opened, and the egg tarts were still cooling from baking in those wonderful ovens, YUMMY!!! It's a little hidden gem down here, that only the locals know about. 😁👍👍👍👍✔

Love Yang Chow! The BEST! Excellent spring rolls, broccoli beef, eggplant! David was always wonderful! Also the fabulous one in Franklin St, fabulous chow mein!

there are over 20 good resturants in Oakland Chinatown. all the state fed city workers are a short walking distance to Oak chinatown, OAkland chinatown has the best accessibility to locals. not like San francisco wwhich charges you $5 hour to park an hour. I live in SF and I never go eat in SF chinatown in the last 20 years
