That was the only video about business plans that I could comprehend. Congratulations! The only suggestion I have is: you could have given more personal examples. The few times you did made things so much clearer.
Thanks Tyler! We’re trying to give new entrepreneurs and established businesses the tools and education they need for their business to thrive online in these turbulent economic times.
Thank you! Man i needed this. I am struggling with writing a business plan, I will implement this, the best i can. Thank you again, I will let you know how this goes. Thank you again
You make this fun but clear cut. Thank you My dumb ass founded a non profit and a for profit then developed my husband's company ,llc about the same time. Good news is he's happily busy everyday
Thank you so much this was so informative! You are very talented at explaining things that are difficult. Where is the gift business plant template though?
Hello! I loved your video, which was fun to watch and more so, I love that you help rescue dogs. I have a business I want to sell, do you think your help would apply to selling my business and not just products?
Appreciate your comment, Stephanie! If you're looking to sell your business, I'd recommend going through our blogs here: bit.ly/402FCQJ and here: bit.ly/3mAZuNl instead to help you get prepared.
Okay, this video has been AMAZINGLY helpful. I've probably watched it completely (or in parts) at least 100 times since finding it. HOWEVER - I'm wondering if it's okay to kind of re-organize things just a little bit? Like when he says your business structure can be shown with an org chart - can we also list plans to expand the team right after that? Seems like it would keep things more succinct. Another question - for company overview when he tells the story about the dog rescue - should that not be in the beginning, or at least some kind of story in the beginning to get people hooked? Just brainstorming.
Thank you so much for this knowledge. I'm looking forward to new venture that was prompt buy the Lockdown which gave me a lot of time to thing and made me realize that I can be my own boss..
And thank you for your kind words! We are a firm believer that you can definitely be your own boss. Please let us know if we can help you out in any other way.
Hello Seb Questions; if my business is a dropshipping business, will I need to include a space rental in my startup cost? And if don't have a brick-and-mortar physical location can I simply use my P.O. box?
Hi Mark! You wouldn't need to worry about renting a space. Dropshipping is a retail fulfillment method where a store doesn't keep the products it sells in stock. Instead, when a store sells a product using the dropshipping model, it purchases the item from a third party and has it shipped directly to the customer. As a result, the seller doesn’t have to handle the product directly! We also have a course that will provide you with step-by-step instructions on setting up a successful dropshipping business: bit.ly/2SMkYb5. Hope this helps!
Write down your goals What outcomes are you expecting? Write out what your hoping to achieve? Communication with employees will be different from investors.
Hey! Starting a business from scratch without any investors or financing can be a great challenge, but it is possible. Have you looked into Dropshipping? At Shopify, what we really like about dropshipping is that it provides a lower-risk approach for independent businesses to test out new product ideas (and product lines) without having to own and pay for the product upfront. I suggest having a read of our [ultimate guide to dropshipping](bit.ly/3htmDL2) for an in-depth look at this business model.
