Whole lotta haters in these comments. Don’t mind them. Thank you so much for sharing this, I’m a level 130 and still suck at countering so I always go back to the basics, and this tutorial was obviously 1000% better than the in-game one. Keep grindin ya’ll
Dropping jewels, thanks for posting this. I have the hardest time actually seeing the center icon that displays the parry window and stamina and etc, it's like it disappears from my vision soon as a fight starts lol. I've realized from watching my gameplay back I'm countering a lot less than I think I am, so I've been working on those in particular, too. Thanks for sharing!
This is a bit late, but if you're having trouble keeping an eye on the counter display, it's best to realize that's just a visual indicator. What you should really be paying attention to is your enemy, particularly the arms that are making the strikes and their general footwork.
u can hold block during the enemies wind-up and do a slash overhand or stab right before the attack starts until u get better u can try to block shorter as holding block drains stamina as u get better.
Genuine question not trying to hate or anything but like how did you get to your level without knowing how to counter? Honestly it’s kinda commendable because I probably would have given up had I not learned
@@crystalphoenix1287 OHHH my bad I’m an idiot yeah that’s fair most team modes can be played a with a lot less brain power but that’s definitely what makes them more fun lol
Not really. Some ppl have a love for learning and will continue to learn as much as possible from a veteran, even if it means starting from the fundamentals.
R.I.P. Soter Dave. Guy had the most helpful chivalry 2 videos.
Yes, Dave taught me much. I miss him :(
King dave. Gotta admire this guy.
someone skipped the tutorial
Doesn't matter where we start, only matters where we end 😏
@@goodolfashion doesn't matter. Been doing it early just not realizing it is called a counter. Anyway even vets can't pull it off consistently.

No worries, you'll get better as time goes by... all the best! :D

Thanks for posting this! I just started playing chiv 2. Having fun but also dying a lot lol
You're welcome. Glad you enjoy the game 😁

Thanks... I'm trying to not rely on my bad habit of holding block 😂
Just saying for feedback, game music was too loud that it made it hard to hear the coach, you were great keep going!

Simple. Game doesn't require skills in order to play TO maps and do well in TO. Game only requires skills when it comes to duels and 1v1 😏
@@crystalphoenix1287 I’m not gonna lie I have no idea what TO is🗿

Wait..he has soft and hard mode?? 🤣
what makes u a pro lol? cause ur in the competitive scene??
The pro in question is the NA player here - Soter Dave. He's one of the top-ranked duelists... pretty sure he's more of a pro than you 😂🤣🤣
id say anyone who qualifies for tbb could be considered a pro duelist
Dave runs a lot of competitive events and is one of the best na duelists
The pov is the student smart guy
this music is just too loud
What music?
It's bad game or bad you if you need "coach" to play game the way you would like it.
Not really. Some ppl have a love for learning and will continue to learn as much as possible from a veteran, even if it means starting from the fundamentals.
You can play any game you want in any way you like. But to get good at it you need a coach.
