Great video! May I suggest that you run process monitor and find the things that are dragging your memory of CPU cycles down and pause or remove them? I've been amazed to find programs that I didn't think about at all taking up Gigs of RAM (starving other processes with virtual memory windmilling) or running in loops taking up all available CPU cycles. Also, perhaps edit this video to remove all the parts where the sim froze so people don't have to watch that wasted time? Or just change your description to say where the real learning starts?

Technically that is not needed as you can use xacro file with anything that supports URDF. But still if you need it, then there are 2 ways to do it... either you can run this command in terminal from the path where your xacro file is there- rosrun xacro xacro.py model.xacro > model.urdf or else you can also try this command- rosrun xacro xacro --inorder model.xacro > model.urdf Hope this helps!! @@PranshuTople Thank you for helping me. I am trying to import URDF from ROS in Unity. There are couple of issues, I am facing: URDF not appearing in unity when imported from ros. The problem is the URDF is not visible in 'game' and 'scene' in Unity. Though in the Assets section of Unity I can notice the URDF being imported. github.com/siemens/ros-sharp/issues/391

Follow this for more info - github.com/Unity-Technologies/URDF-Importer Here is pro tip - your URDF file should be able to see and access all the meshes in unity. If its not visible that means it cannot find the meshes
@@PranshuTople , turns out the default gazebo plugin I was using had the param set to false, so GMapping was not receiving TF data. It is fixed now. Thanks a lot for reaching out! Do you have plans on making videos on rtabmap or any 3D mapping method?

brother, unfortunately, it says that the map is not received. and it does not come up eventually as seen as in your case.
There can a number of reasons for this problem. Are you receiving any other specific error message?
