Beastly. Crazy how hard the 1-12 hits. I hit 148.6 with 2 L7 15's back in 2005. Never actually seen anybody with the original warhorse. Back in the day we all loved the ZR amps.
Awesome review and SPL test! I missed the COMP mode locked out the bass knob but it also enables the amp to accept up to 17VDC. I'll also say using the Pioneer 80PRS with a 4.8V RCA out, I wasn't able to drive this amp to do the Amp Dyno tests (with COMP mode enabled). I had to add the Key Loc to use as an RCA level booster. I thought the Pioneer should have enough juice to drive it in this mode, but apparently not. Amp is built like a tank and I'm betting reliability is going to be excellent...only time will tell though

Yes I had to per say add some umphh to get more output on my 4v Headunit Need to test how much it actually does then adjust my mids/high’s accordingly to blend comfortably 👊🏼 Well if anyone finds out first of its reliability - it will be us 🤣❤️👊🏼
It should handle low impedances no problem. Ive been running a taramps 5k @.67 for 3 years now and no problems whatsoever. Really powerful. Im sure this amp can go much lower.
Can you play it long and loud? Andy says it can go into protect. I'm asking g because I want to wire down my D2 subs to .05 ohm but not if I am dealing with lots of heat issues..I have 2 lithium lte 6.0 banks and a 220amp alternator
This amp is a no joke.. Cant wait for a dyno vid by williston and real life reviews.. The power ratings seams to be perfect for my sql setup, just hope they are not entirely meant for spl purpose but good sq as well
I was hoping for bluetooth remote with clip indicator like the KXA.Hopefully on a Version 2 of this Warhorse amp, it will do 3600W @ 2 or 1 ohm like the CXA and KXA.
Kinda sorta - I’m not an amp repair or tech guy but full bridge is definitely the way to go for a lot of aspects I’ll come back to this question with more answers 👊🏼🔥
Kicker has blown me away again. The development and engineering is on level 11. The Solo X rocked the CarAudio world and now this will too with its small form efficiency and output.
I have 2 of l7 12" in one of those pre fab boxes about the size of your. I need a bigger box or just one sub by the looks of things. That old amp so big 😲🤣. I need a new amp and more power.

Is the voltage output double the current because it's a full bridge? Does that mean the voltage rail is bridged in the output of a full bridge?

I love the old Warhorse. To bad it clips. So I heard but a head of it's time. A Taranps 12k is not even half the size of a Warhorse.
