I got the fold 4 and I'm blown away and love it I believe it's the new wave a day will take over and making it thin and have less crease will make 90% of people seriously consider
I have been waiting a long time for a folding phone for years. I like that there is more variety coming into the market as this will help drive prices down as currently, the price is one of the biggest aspects that keeps it out of everyday consumers like me and others. If they were are to provide the foldable phone for around $1000k, there would many people who would consider paying a couple of hundred dollars more to get one. I personally prefer the Huawei version of the foldable phone, it is both lighter, thinner, and much better designed. The fact that they have most of the components in the section where you hold it when opened is a very smart way to put it together. It gives you a natural hand grip to hold your device to use it. Also, I know some people say that having the screen on the outside might cause you to scratch it, and I would say you have a point. However, considering how fast technology moves ahead and how often people change their phones. I am sure that you would not be keeping the phone for more than 1-2 years, 3 years max, because by then there would be a phone out that will do much better than what you have. If you look after the phone which generally people do, then it will last you until the day you want to replace it with another one. Furthermore, I believe that it comes with a case and you can get a plastic clear screen cover to put on it so if there is a scratch, it is on the plastic cover and not the phone. I am hoping with new innovations that the Huawei XS foldable will keep its outside screen looks and over the next couple of iterations that the screen issue raised will no longer be an issue because if they can fix this issue, they will have the BEST foldable phone in the market. As far as I am concerned they will have no competition and Samsung and the other foldable phone companies will change there's to match Huawei's. Personally, I don't mind the screen issue (not an issue to me), and the only thing holding me back from purchasing it is the price as I love everything about the phone.
