The US propaganda is so hard that makes us think that they build an entire city just to play a prank on us. Seriously, NK doesn't give a F* about what we think of them. They are just a heavily sanctionated country looking for sovereignty in an imperialist world led by the US. If we take a closer look to the history of the korean war, where US bombings killed 1/5 of the country's population and they still managed to survive and rebuild, it is quite an impressive achievement. Thus explains their loyalty for kim il sung who led them in the war against both imperial Japan and US
In the 70's, Sweden sold North Korea 1,000 new Volvo's and shipped them over, and North Korea just didn't pay for them, Volvo never received a penny for them, and most of them apparently are still in use.
Well, this one is marathon day so it's not weird in that context to have empty streets - the streets feel particularly empty, though, because they're so massive. so it''s quite the experience... But also, unless you're looking from drone shots, you'll never feel it quite as much as you're running through crowds of people cheering you on!
@lukaswilliam97 No, just because it shows a part of the DPRK as a normal place doesn't mean it's propaganda. It's really a tell that so much of the propaganda you've been fed about it is so often so negative that you can't even see a video of the country being normal without thinking you're seeing propaganda.
North Korea has its own rules to protect its country from the influence of a Few Global Elite Criminals in the name of the World and Neo Colonialists who want to seize and enslave the countries of this world,...…..and some countries in this world they become Slaves of some The Global Criminal Elite, ........North Korea is an Independent State in the True Meaning...

Wow, look at all those cars!

Would be amazing to able to fly a drone in the DPRK
I was so confused why everyone was running until I read the description lol
Sounds like the soundtrack for a Cartoony PS2 game. When people start making homemade PS2 games you could just rip this to a project like that
This city is a map of a ps2 game.
@@Comradpetito Are you referring to how empty it looks? How unique it looks? Both, or both with also other reasons?
Did you fly over the boarder to NK or are you flying inside NK?
why the roads?
What are your impressions when you see such deserted streets during the day in the capital and largest city of the DPRK ?

NORTHKOREA IN LEAVE ME ALONE MODE
The street is no car?????
Aparently the streets are for people, not cars.
Hello, cheers from the USA! I one day wish to visit North Korea, but I doubt that I'll ever get to :(
I hope you can one day!
Where are all the cars?

This video was sponsored by Kim Jong Un 😬
Lmao what I’m saying

Yes the marathon doesn’t go past Ryugyong Hotel (the triangle hotel )
Actually their Arc de Triomphe is taller than France’s too..!
My dream is to go to North Korea! It seems lovely 🥰 lots of attractions and nice people

unironically the no cars thing is a benefit.. no threat of getting ran over every time you go somewhere especially for kids
Not to mention polution, sound, stress, car payments, car insurance, car taxes and the high taxes for street repairs.
