However, if this delay continues, it would be more apparent that Macron is sabotaging the functioning of the French government for his own political gain. Melenchon has to suggest impeachment now even if he doesn't intend to pursue it right now. If nothing is said then, winning the last election got the left almost nothing. The left did indeed win the election. Under standard rules, one of their party members gets to be Prime Minister. Macron has a strong political motivation for refusing to do his own job.
