At around 1:26 the narrator indicated that the ethernet connection should be a direct connection to the computer...no switches etc. The Mac mini I'm going to purchase has only one ethernet connection. I want a direct connection from my router to the Mini and I also need it connected via ethernet to other computers in a Vienna Ensemble Pro arrangement.
Not the fault of the Carbon of course, really it's a shortcoming of the Mini. Just wish a switch would take care of it.
I suppose I could use up both of the Thunderbolt 3 ports with adapters, but now the Mac Mini is left with only 2 USB ports and one HDMI. There goes the multi-monitor plans.

So used a usbc to Ethernet adapt to bring my internet back in. I’m going direct from Carbon to a late 2018 Mac mini with no luck seeing the carbon in pro tools or Mac settings.

How do you reduce the input levels so that coming out of a Neve at close to 20dbu won’t clip the carbon converters…
Is there a setting for this or jumpers inside to reduce the input settings?

Does this not work on Windows?

Probably not. Windows doesn't have a native AVB stack. (even three years later)
