It’s Wyoming not the Meta. Wyoming was playing dead after his encounter with Tex and then after Delta said he was still alive he decided to attack and then run off to go to blood gulch. The meta does appear in recovery one though, just off screen. There is however one shot where he runs across the screen and if you pause it you can see he has brown armour with red secondary. This is because the Meta’s armour isn’t in Halo 2 and so this was used as a place holder
I feel like its because he didnt completely rationalize what he was getting himself into. yeah fought in massive wars and such, but it wasnt for a while that he realized that he would be losing friends. In season 6, he started getting serious. He became relentless. Hell, with the help of the Meta, he was able to go head on with a heavily equipped Agent Texas in season 8. In other words, he realized it was killed or be killed. And at the point he was at, he had nothing to lose.
PepperSamurai Wash addresses this himself in Season 11 when he talks to Tucker. Ultimately, everything is relative. The worst fighter among reds and blues (Grif?) would probably be the best fighter in another environment. (Remember the fanatics from the Blood Gulch chronicles?)

I guess Simmons is pretty good with the rocket launcher because in Season 8 he shot a perfectly aimed rocket at the Meta while he was in air, which only missed because the Meta dodged it. Besides that there's just Caboose when he's angry and maybe Sarge with his shotgun.

I just realized in this animation that York was literally blown into about 10+ pieces right under Wash as he dove off the side...imagine having to blow up your colleagues for a job when they are found KIA...

I know that Halo 2 BSP extraction is a reality and that The Halo 3 Spartan can be extracted to, but the spartan model you use looks a little bit off, if you have modeled it and textured it yourself, then I must say that you are one of the best and most dedicated red vs blue fans ever... of all time. You have done, Excellent. Edit: The Teaxture on the Spartan looks like it was taken from the game, so that means that you have done even better to be able to UV map this.
This guy knows where its at, at least link the vid (you help the community) unlike people like Media Overload, he has almost all of season 11 exactly copied.
