Just to say many thanks for this video. We purchased the press stud kit and fitted them to our Bongo. Works a real treat so thanks for the idea and video. Cheers from old George and Jane
That’s a great and simple idea, brilliant. We were discussing a cabin curtain the other day in the second trip out in our new Freda/Bongo . Many thanks 😊
Thats really cool and a lot cheaper than pre made stuff, it also looks effective at keeping out the light. I think I may look at something similar for the rear window of my bongo.
Thanks!! It's been one of the most used items I've made for the van. I wasn't sure how much I would use it, but I prefer to put this up instead of my new windscreen cover! Cheers 👍
I don't have a specific video for it I'm afraid, it does appear in other videos (dimensions and van tour). I am thinking of redoing it at some point so it's slightly bigger as it's very useful, so a future video maybe! 👍
What kind of van is this? We are living in our 2013 Toyota Sienna, and need better curtains, but on a very low income, doing these things is harder for us.
It's a Mazda Bongo. As long as you have something sturdy to screw the little studs into then you're fine. If this hadn't worked I would have rigged up a pole for the curtain to run along instead. Cheers 👍
Excellent idea! I've been wanting a curtain behind the cab in my Bongo but didn't know how to fix it, this looks perfect.
Thanks. It's one of those things that I use all the time in my van! cheers 👍
