The Muslim community in particular came under attack resulting in a climate of islamaphobia and fear. Amongst those fuelling protests and riots by the far right in the UK, was new Muslim and influencer Andrew Tate. Abdullah Al Andalusi shares his views on why Andrew Tate might have made his inflammatory comments, looks at immigration in the UK and defines what worship truly is.

The best example to follow is the example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions (May Allah be please with them)
Andrew Tate is in search of masculinity due to childhood trauma, traumatised adults will usually search all their lives because they have a core belief that they are not good enough as Muslims we of course understand that these thoughts or beliefs are from Sheitan and actively fight against them. He clearly thinks he can find it and try to make sense of it through the lens of Islam which he has completely misunderstood with limited people around him to consistently teach or guide him. Also, even the prophet (saw) and his companions would observe disbelievers who converted for a time before deciding them to be true believers so I don’t think the Muslim community should just embrace and make excuses for anyone who becomes a Muslim it does more damage than good, Muslim women see through Andrew Tate’s toxic masculinity and how damaging it can become for the community especially with him being a person of influence on young men but for some reason Muslim men don’t see it or refuse, it’s very interesting and I think he will continue to prove Muslim women right.

Abdullah is one of the only Muslim influencers who honestly called out Tate. Even Hijab is being too nice. To me, Tate is grifting and also is playing a political role in influencing Muslims. I don’t believe in his whole conversion.

Spot on. This has to be the most accurate analysis of this man’s whole ethos. Very well articulated Masha’Allah, succinct and to the point. Muslims need to be far more discerning when looking up to someone. No. 2 Years definitely doesn't mean new. I admit, in 2020 when I was 1 year into being muslim, I was still extremely ignorant of islam, but by 2021 I had fixed myself by large margin.

One big mistake that Andrew made was converting to a religion he knew very little about, apart from the surface stuff.
The consequence of that is that he now finally realised that Muslims honestly do not believe either in free speech or consistency, which is why they have come out so viciously against him for supporting the rights of native Brits to keep their country British, the same way he supports Gaza remaining Palestinian and not being converted to Israel.
He is the one who is consistent on these issues, but unfortunately Muslims do not care for the large part about being morally consistent.
When they behave aggressively towards others, it is fine. When they occupy a land and work day and night to turn that country into something unrecognisable from what it is meant to be, it is fine. But heaven forbid someone does it to them.
