As someone who loves Animal Crossing, the beginner house you get has always had a special place in my heart. Not only did it first introduce me to being in debt as a young lass, but it also makes me yearn for a more affordable housing market! So I decided that since I can't buy a real house and want to cry, I'll make a cheap tissue-box cover that can fulfill the emotional support I need! There are a lot of other cool buildings in Animal Crossing (Population Growing, Wild World, City Folk, New Leaf, Happy Home Designer / Happy Home Paradise) so let me know if there are any more Animal Crossing buildings you'd like to see from me!

This is SOOOO CUTE, I absolutely love the added detail of the thick modpodge for wood texture as well as the spackle!! And I love the texture on the roof tiles, it adds a wonderful detail that breaks up the light as it hits the box from all angles!
I'm just a bit sad to think that when you run out of tissues you won't be able to replace the box without cutting apart your build... Ah well, maybe you can cut a trap door underneath to help with that :P

Another excellent project in another excellent video! My jaw dropped when I saw the wood texture on the door using that streaky mod-podge trick. It looked so real! As always your jokes are hilarious and the sound effects pulled from the relevant game boost the charm up by at least 10 points. ☺
I would have loved to see it "in action!" Does the roof come off to replace the tissue box inside, or does the entire house lift off the base? And I'm curious how well the tissues themselves keep together when you pull them out of the chimney.

They didn’t UNTIL I put some tape on the underside of the cover that covered up a piece that would catch the tissue, but now they do and I actually use it!

I feel like AC: Pocket Camp is the only Animal Crossing game that gets real support from Nintendo. There are daily quests and goals and I do feel like I can really accomplish things without plateauing.
I’ve heard similar feedback, which is kinda depressing considering the scale of new horizons had the ability to reach so many more people. Nintendo doesn’t fail to thrash my emotions about as they please

Yes! I didn’t show it in the video for time reasons but I put a little bit of scotch tape on the underside cause there was one bit of foam that was catching the tissues and they pull out extra smooth now! I have it on my desk as I type this
