My best friend’s mother died from ovarian cancer a month into the rehearsals of In The Garden. At the funeral, we sung How Great Thou Art together, as it was one of her favorite songs. A week or two later we learned this ballad, and as I was in guard, I didn’t fully connected the dots until we put it on the field for the first time. The rest of the season felt like an homage to her legacy. She was one of the greatest people I’ve known in my life and words can’t describe how honored and privileged I felt knowing she got to hear her favorite song for months, and knowing thousands of people were listening along with her.
I remember that's year they hosted a competition I went to as a spectator and it was a long day that I was about to leave the stadium and not watch them but i decided to watch the show and was blown away by them, little did I know I met one of my best friends my 1st year of college who was in the woodlands band 2013-2017 and met another one who was in it the same years as him (both graduated in 2017) little did I know they introduced me to some of their friends in the band and next thing i know I know quite a few people from the band
My school has not made it to state, we are new to this, this is going to be the second time we try to reach state😓 My school is psja southwest last year 2018 we performed (black Swan)
If I'm not mistaken, I believe that's San Robinson's arrangement of How Great Thou Art. He did a wonderful arrangement and it was preformed just a amazingly!!
