LOL watching this on my Picasso tab, I must say that I miss more ram the two GB is a bit too little in the long run. I've had mine for two years now. And longed for a newer version with more ram. Krita and TV paint android version can be run for free on this machine, but they are ram consuming. Love rough animator in this regard.
@@mamory3791 it's still being used on a daily basis by my two boys, I'm not allowed to use it anymore. I've replaced the screen a second time. I'm rather impressed that it's still around. I guess battery time has gone down but it is still able to run around five hours of RUclips movies straight. I've no idea how the 2022 versions are but would recommend the bigger 4GB. Nice product!
It seems that there is a version of krita for android. It's gui is the same as desktop and it a bit cluncky but if you nake a review of using krita on android it would be great.
Samsung galaxy tab s6 lite is the best choice to go far. I own one and I love it, I've even recorded and edited my videos on it and it works. Plus it comes with it's own s-pen
I just ordered a tab s6 lite last weekend and it costs around $500 dollars in my country though I did choose the 128Gb with a case...My only concern is that android really lacks great drawing/art software compared to ios/apple
@@patricialouellamae ClipStudio paint is on Android now, Krita is also moving into the android ecosystem but I believe it's it's still in beta. Ibis paint x is a great one along side with medibang paint
@@mookmonstrr Thanks. I might try Krita but Csp is subsceiption based on android. On my note 5 phone rn I use infinite painter and ibis paint, it's both okay. I also used to use FlipaClip for animation before I discovered OpenToonz.
I know I'm an year late 😂, but I am looking to buy this tablet for my girl for Christmas. She currently draw on a Galaxy Tab A7 with NTHJOYS pen purchased on Amazon. Will she feel a big difference between the Picasso Tab and the on she has? Is the Picasso more sensitive?
SIRRRR PLS I NEED A TUTORIAL 🤣 HOW CAN I ANIMATE THE LIGHT?!! TO MAKE A DAWN/SUNSET! PLS! like i need that the light come out from the sun and highlight everything little by little
Ups that's not good - I have the 2GB ver. for well above 2yrs and I have no complaints, had to replace the screen because the kids had been jumping on it in bed. Did you try to return it, should be within the warranty, or did it suffer a major blow or something on your part? It comes with a pretty efficient cover.
Yea unfortunately I bought one that won't even turn on. Sucks. My daughter was super disappointed. It's weird I can access the boot screen (power+vol down) but none of the options work.
my palm rejection is pretty bad even with the glove tbh, i pressed the side of my pinky to the screen with the glove and it was responding which super big time bugged me
if you have another 50 dollars to spend I suggest getting the Lenovo Tablet P11 instead. It has a higher resolution display (2000x1200 as opposed to 1920x1080), and has 4 times as much pressure sensitivity depths for drawing. It also just has some really nice quality of life navigation features as well as a "desktop" mode, bout 250 for a base model with a lenovo precision pen 2. If you want a cheaper one for 150 you can get the M10 (Practically same specs but slower, and does not include stylus.) and if you want more expensive at around 350 the P11 Pro model has a faster processor as well as a 2.5k display and an OLED screen. I have the 250 base model of the P11 and I absolutely love it, but I imagine the OLED screen of the Pro model is absolutely amazing to draw on! Edit: These tablets all also have 4gb ram instead of the measeley little 2 of the picassotab
This tablet is perfect besides I hear the resolution is trash and that worries me. Making a purchase today just want a stand-alone tablet to draw please someone give me advice
Why not a iPad? I have the cheapest 2020 version and is great. I can do all my art an animation with absolutly no problem. An it also feels premium. For me is the best bang for the buck.
Yeah they do have that premium touch many prefer. Although I'd go for an android tablet simply because the apple ecosystem is a bit limited. I'm a tinkerer and I like to have full control of my devices.
@@pinklady7184, It's still fine - using it on a daily basis, both kids and me. Don't draw as much on it as I would have expected. I thought it would be a much better experience to draw directly on the screen, but I actually prefer using my Wacom tablet, sitting upright, looking into the monitor, than hunching over the screen.
@@icecreamlid so big update there...I dropped it like a dummy and broke the screen which motivated me to get a better tablet...I now have an iPad...that said, the picasso tablet is fine for what it does and you will be able to do anything on it any higher end android tablet could do...it's a great low cost alternative. However I will say that working with an iPad now, I prefer it much more and would recommend that if you care about performance.. the picasso is noticeably laggy compared to the iPad but not so much that it limits your abilities
@@icecreamlid lol so I got a 2021 standard iPad refurbished for about 400 US dollars...that's without the protection plan and case/pen and whatnot...obviously that bumped the price considerably, but for a bit less than twice the price of the simbans you get 5x the processing power...the differences between a brand new iPad and the 2021 are so minimal that most people wouldnt even notice them
A great in-depth review! I appreciate how you keep the reviews very real and unbiased even when being provided a product

What do you think about it
How is it working now?

Also another thing - I had to change my screen glass and it went fine. But I just checked and the spare parts now has been sold out for half a year 😖

Not necessarily on a budget but there are so many artists out there that don't even bother with a computer of any type
