Having had this keyboard for years now, I can confirm that the batteries do indeed literally last years! And it is also an amazing keyboard to type on. It's so amazing, I even bought two extras just in case it might die on me in the future and it could no longer be in production by then.
I use mine whenever Im in the office or when Im travelling when I have my laptop connected to it via the unifying receiver (as well as a Logitech Master) and me phone and tablet attached to it too. Lovely quiet keyboard with a fantastic build quality.......wouldnt want to drop this on me toes ! Thanks Mike and Kath :-)
watched the video and realised that this was exactly what i was looking for, so thank you for making probably the best video for this keyboard, i will be using it for windows and my phone when its being used in Dex
Unified Receivers’ such as those from Logitech (OG) and Razer are a great product to use considering the number of wireless receivers being used by many people these days. This definitely adds up on a normal pc … keyboard, mouse, headset, console controller to name the mainstream products and having one or two receivers at most would save some much valued USB ports 🥰👍😇. Thanks Mike for this product review ☺️🤩. I always used my own Logitech keyboard and mouse in the workplace as they’re always reliable and very comfortable products to use 🥳
I've had the lousiest luck with Logitech keyboards. Every one from the expensive to the cheap broke far too quickly except for the K380 which is still going strong. When I was looking for a gaming board, it came down to the G815 and the ASUS Strix Flare. The ASUS won. I just couldn't commit so much money to another keyboard that might disappoint. The Flare is great and looks good. I love all the Logitech mice I've had, though. The G502 is fantastic. It's frustrating because Logitech gets high marks overall.
Great review Mike, really helps to determine if this is worth a purchase. Been looking for something that doesn’t have bring colours on to suit my remote working set up, whilst this is a bit old now it looks like its worth a go 👍🏼
Nice looking board, I like the round keys, but it's a little out of my price range. I picked up an Amazon basics wired keyboard for $21 and that's good enough for me.
Seems very expensive imo. No built in battery or charger, no illuminated keys when using on media or pc in evening, no caps/num lock markers. Just seems very expensive imo. Would it be fair to assume wireless keyboards are no good for gaming? My seenda seems to buffer in certain games when sat 6feet from dongle! Thanks for sharing Mike and Kath👍ps did you use diff microphones as sound seemed to change, dj ish lol
there isn't really a pefect keyboard for all use cases, this is more the power user keyboard for multi devices and is okay for gaming and will get the job done. There are always compromises to be made
like most things if you stick with it a while it the muscle memory kicks in and it feels very natural and due to the lower pressure and movement needed to actuate the key press, it is a lot less tiring - at less for me anyway

Love the K780 personally. I really hate the noise from mechanical keyboards and don't really care about them.
16:35 thats crazy all i had to know is to hit enter for the six digit XD thx so much this video help alot !!

Fair enough! can't argue with that

Does it work with Linux ? Thanks for such a good (clear) review
it does but the software doesn't i believe so you would need to set it up in windows or maybe ios / android
Buttons and space b-twin bigger than Logitech K380?
not sure sorry not had the k380
Hi, Mike. That keyboard is cute, but I could never use it, I can barely type on a laptop. I need a mechanical keyboard.
like most things if you stick with it a while it the muscle memory kicks in and it feels very natural and due to the lower pressure and movement needed to actuate the key press, it is a lot less tiring - at less for me anyway
Where is the Windows key? It's missing from the lower left side of the keyboard.
because it is designed as a multi format keyboard the windows key doesn't have a windows logo
well is good for a cheap price, but if you're into mechanical keyboards, you don't wanna touch membrane keyboards anymore 😂
i agree to some extent, the key action is actually very nice and when you get used to it you really can type quicker in my opinion
