This video starts with the Queen's Blues and the Royals who have red plumes in their helmets and the Queen's Life Guards thank you for the beautiful video👍👍😀😀🌹🌹❤️❤️
@@petshopboy827 Wow! That's the ultimate honor , thank you for protecting the Queen and thank you for your service . We love and extremely respect the Queen here in the United States .
@@user-lo1wf9nk4v Thanks I served with the coldstream guards 💂♂️ for16 years .. I also fought alongside the US 🇺🇸 forces in Iraq.. I love America your great people... take care xx
Like the guards outside Buckingham Palace, this is only 50% of their role. The two mounted regiments of the household cavalry are also trained in tank warfare and reconnaissance.
Tradition can be very comforting, looking at a 7 year difference and only thing I see is the time of day, unless I miscounted the clock chimes as 10 instead of 11.
SER MILITAR NÃO É BRINQUEDO NÃO, MUITAS OBRIGAÇÕES E DEVERES COM A PÁTRIA, BEM DIFÍCIL, HONRA E DISCIPLINA E SER HOMEM DE VERDADE, ALI NÃO TEM PAPAI E MAMÃE PRA PEDIR SOCORRO!!!!!!!!!!!
0:18 2nd row right from where u r watching is a Guard that was featured in another 2 or 3 videos. One of their other video is he smiling/laughing because of a joke by a tourist and another video smiling/laughing and getting kisses by two girls (lol). I can't believe he is still not fired...
I think if you check the QRs, there's nothing to say a soldier can't talk to civvies, and nothing to say he can't appear to be "of good cheer". If he's on stag, this still applies; there's a big difference between engaging with the public and lounging around scratching your balls and fooling around. As long as he's concentrating on his job, he's ok.
we never used to do that!! not sure why they are doing it now unless they are crap at the drill movements and its a punishment. before we just dressed off silently
I'm a former US Marine, and wow. These guys have amazing jobs, and I would love to be them. From America to the UK, great traditions.
I love the guards and horses, so beautiful. 🇦🇺♥️🇬🇧👍

They're humans, and nine times out of ten, it's always the tourist who is at fault and not the troopers or guardsmen.

This is the guard who smiled because of the tourist joking, the other who smiled and was kissed was a different guy.
that will be a new horse to regiment and maybe its first time in those boxes.. its not uncommon.
Why do the lifeguards slap their horses so hard? The blues and royals are a bit gentiler. One of those regimental differences?
Not really. Just down to the troopers - It doesn't hurt the horses by any means
Don't know if you'll see this after all these years but nowadays it's reversed with BRs slapping hard and LGs light but firm.
와우 이 와중에 한국어가 들리다니...👏
9:22 the hell was that screeming about or what ever they were doing the farvest one saild 1 then the outhers did noises
its called dressing off. they should not be screaming like that!! thats not how its usually done.
we never used to do that!! not sure why they are doing it now unless they are crap at the drill movements and its a punishment. before we just dressed off silently
no thats what you do to save the trooper from walking around his horse. you turn about and do his stirrup for him. I used to be one :)
hes just running the stirrup up so its not bashing the horse on the side as its lead away
Yes and they make a hundred grand a year.
Chinese everywhere guards keep telling them out of the way
