I remember him vividly. His "positioning" in particular is something that young goalkeepers should study. Unbelievable almost surgical precision with how optimally he positioned himself in goal.

Depois da copa de 1994 onde ele foi um dos destaques, por muito pouco, pouco mesmo ele não veio jogar no Guarani! Se tivesse vindo talvez nós tínhamos vencido aquele campeonato! Lembrando q em 94 nós fomos 3: lugar com um timaço q tinha amoroso, Djalminha, Luizão, Edu lima, sandoval, Jorge Luiz e cia...
O interessante e que não dependia só do que ganhava em salario do futebol !Ele era engenheiro de uma grande empresa fabricante caminhões ma Suecia!

I have very vague memories of the 1994 world cup because I was so young but I seem to remember that Ravelli used to have a ridiculously long throw and regularly launched the ball up t the half way line and beyond when he threw the ball out.
