When what day comes? When a big pincer grabs a rocket? Last year we had the world's largest rocket launched, it actually went to the moon, it sent a human rated capsule further than any in history has travelled and it was the first to do a double skip re-entry. We also had the first flight of a man made craft on another planet last year, not just one but over twenty of them. The year before that we had James Webb launched, which has given us unrivalled imagery of the cosmos. So no catching a rocket that goes no where with a pincer is not 'the most historical thing we've seen in this generation' it barely rates above the last episode of Star Trek Discovery as 'historical'.
@@L8ugh1ngm8n1 To be able to catch a rocket to have it be reused it's a HUGE milestone in space exploration, the JWST is an amazing feat, but that was bound to happen, we had already launched the Hubble so we all knew a predecessor would could eventually. Пока не решится проблема выведения на околоземную орбиту полезной нагрузки без использования ракет, не видать нам массовых путешествия землян в космос.

- Maybe near world-wide internet is something anyone with billions could to, but it's largely in place. Half +

When the day comes, it will be the single most historical thing we've seen in this generation

So yes, large pincers grabbing a rocket that is automated out of the sky to allow it to be reused is a major historical accomplishment, and will be the biggest one to happen in space exploration...everything you've mentioned has already happened in the past, this is something that has never happened, therefore, is major 🤷
