VOSS IS (STILL!) BOSS!!! He's the main reason why I started bowling on a serious matter back in 1989 and this and his victory the week before in Merritt Island, FL (Bowlers' Journal Florida Open), as well as his matinee idol looks (back when I actually HAD hair and was 27 years younger back in 1989) brought me to both the Tour and to this great sport.
My 3 All-Time Favorite Bowlers: Brian Voss, Danny Wiseman, and Norm Duke!!!
All 3 are Hall Of Famers, and all 3 are CLASS ACTS!!!

One would think that after 25 years, ABC would realize that 4 bowling matches, 15 minutes of commercials, plus a tip of the week would take more than 90 minutes.

I lived in New Orleans. I did not know that PBA tour was there in Harvey, LA.

36:34 In talking about the high game that week, it's mentioned that Nelson Burton Jr shot the only 300 that week. He muses that it had been a decade since he had last bowled one!
So it took him until 1989 to bring up his first of the dacade, extraordinary!
Must've bowled all of his "six hundred perfect games" he claimed in an interview before and after that....

Right after the match Walter opened up his bowling bag and threw a horse shoe at Voss knocking him unconscious.

21:09 more like the second arrow, Bo. I actually tried following this tip in a critical shot to beat the opposing team in high school and threw a gutter ball, losing us the game.

What a classic 1980s featurette on Voss in the beginning of the show. Voss always exhibited master class and massive vanity on TV. A fn dynamo! Glad he beat ugly WRW...
