I always liked the show, and thought the 1st season theme music was amazing (like Barry Gray's in general). Your rendition sent chills down my spine. BRAVO !!!
This is GREAT !!! Very good arrangement and very well played. A M A Z I N G ! ! ! CHAPEAU !!! This is cool, so nice: you hit my heart. Well done !!!! Highly grateful for your masterpiece and publication ! Alphan as child, Alphan forever.
Michel, NASA should invite you to perform it live when they open the first lunar base😉 Was a fan of Cosmos 1999, great cover and superb musicianship👍👍👍
Doubt they will open a Moonbase anytime soon with the budget they have nowadays, and there's no money to make on the Moon. It's likely the Chinese will make it first, as a power/prestige show...
@Erich Wise Actually it's been proven that swearing shows an increased intellect. Also your attempt at reducing another person's positive response speaks volumes about yourself and no one else.
Michel - love it ... thanks for sharing! I love both season one and season 2 of the show - especially the music. Season 1 has ... grittier, harder. You captured that nicely. Season 2 was jazzy and lighter ... I like it for different reasons. I have the Fanderson 2 disc soundtracks for each season - Barry Gray's and Derek Wadsworth's. Both I love to ... hmmm ... sit, relax, maybe a glass of wine ... and just immerse myself in the music. Your arrangement is Fantastic! Thank you!
Could you play that tower of strength the mission on guitar like the one Johnny Maz & Friends - Tower of Strength by The Mission - Online collaboration cover. That was fantastic
What? NO PHASER ON THE GUITAR and 3 tons of echo with the guitar taking all the room on disco stuff! It's not Pink Floyd! The guitar is played with a tight sound, the etheral one with big echo makes the composition lose dynamics and driving energy No timpanis, and it would have been nice to stick to the strings score using the guitar(s), especially with the violin descent just before the disco stuff, you know, when the Eagle spaceship crashes. Damn guitarists! They can't help doing either too much or too few, TABARNAK! I know this: I'm a crisse of guitarist too!
As an original fan of the show (since it premiered in 1975), this gave me a new appreciation for Barry Gray's theme. Thank you.
That brings back memories. I grew up watching that show. 🥰🤗🤗🤗
I always dug the funk riffs/bass lines of the s1 theme. Excellent work!!

Great axe work. Are you using distortion or some kind of chorus?

It’s really good but it needs a better sound mix. And the redux? Unnecessary. But overall, good.
