I keep a page-per-day journal and I quickly realized a daily collage is too much work, and cuts into my writing space too much. I didn't want to give up decorating it all together, so I started doing just one collage a week, as a sort of cover page for the rest of the week's writing. So far I like it, and it keeps the ephemera chunk and the daily upkeep to a minimum.
Great idea, so basically the collage is the first page of the week and then the following pages are daily pages? I've never thought of that. What size are you using? 💕
@@toxmot exactly, so each week is 8 pages. I'm using an A5 stalogy, so I take up a lot of space when I write. Having the one page to go nuts on keeps each part from stepping on each other's toes, so to speak. It's low maintenance since it's only one a week, and it serves to refresh my journal regularly so I don't get bored with it.
this is so true... the more I want to keep up with decorating my daily pages, the more I procrastinate... this is a new perspective, thank u so much for the idea 💕
I love your aesthetic sense so much! Thank you so much for sharing the pages that you've used, they are so beautiful! It is so inspiring to see! Personally I tend to move between an A6 and a B6 for my journalling throughout the year. Sometimes I feel like I need more room to spread out and the B6 feels right, and sometimes I want something small and cozy and the A6 feels right. I don't think that there's anything wrong with moving into and out of one journal to another if the format is more inspiring for that day, or week, or month.
Hey, thanks so much ☺️ I do feel bad though that I had to buy the MD diary to fall in love with my standard TN 😬 it's a beautiful a6 notebook but I guess I'm not having a "need" for it currently. I will probably use it as a gratitude journal. I've moved from journaling in a weeks, then a6, then standard, personal size, and a6, and now back to standard all in one year. So I know what you mean but i think I'm overdoing it 😅 and just indecisive at this point haha
I love your style and how your different journals influence each other ! I thought this planner/ journal was dated so it’s great to know it’s not and it’s more flexible 😊
I love your collages and how you’re using it so far! I use mine as a page a day diary along with a daily creativity space. What blue pen is that in your video?
Thanks! I love this journal. I don't remember the name of the pen but I did an unboxing video with info on it, here's the link: ruclips.net/video/wKE7M7Guuoo/видео.html
Been wanting to try the this Midori. I like your spreads! They're so pleasing and pretty. Thank you for sharing them~ P.S. It would be nice if the flip was steady ^^
Aw, your handwriting is beautiful! I’m planning to buy this exact Midori notebook for journaling and was thinking of a pen I could use with it that would not bleed through the pages. May I know what pen you’re using with it? Thank you!
It would be but I am still working on my hand lettering, which I haven't been at a comfortable level yet. Perhaps I could just write the quote normally though and decorate. I've been trying to look for a good quote book too. Thx for the suggestion!

It's funny how we have ideas for a specific notebook and then it tends to lend itself to something totally different. Your collages are beautiful. 🌻
Yes, exactly 😅 it's great but also not so great at the same time. But I guess it's just the way planner peace goes! 💕

I use fountain pens and the pages are perfect for it! 😊 Thx for watching! Hope you enjoy your book once you get it.
So pretty. Do you have a link for the small scissors?

A quote journal would be nice in there x

Very pretty. Thank you 💕
Thanks for watching 💕
Have you found a cover that fits this A6 MD ?
So far I have not purchased any but the Hobonichi 5-year covers fit.
