আজকের দিনটি আমাদের জন্য অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, কারণ আজ ২১ শে ফেব্রুয়ারি, আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস। ১৯৫২ সালের এই দিনে আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষরা বাংলা ভাষাকে রাষ্ট্রভাষা হিসেবে স্বীকৃতি দানের জন্য প্রাণ দিয়েছিলেন।
আমাদের মাতৃভাষা বাংলা আমাদের অস্তিত্বের প্রতীক। আমাদের ভাবনা, অনুভূতি, সংস্কৃতি ও ঐতিহ্যের বাহন। আজকের এই দিনে, আমরা তাদের সাহস ও ত্যাগের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জানাই এবং বাংলা ভাষার প্রতি আমাদের অটুট ভালোবাসা ও এর সমৃদ্ধ ঐতিহ্য বজায় রাখার শপথ গ্রহণ করি।
আমাদের সকলের উচিত বাংলা ভাষা সঠিকভাবে ব্যবহার করা ও এর প্রসার ও বিকাশে ভূমিকা রাখা। চলুন আমরা সকলে মিলে বাংলা ভাষাকে আরও সমৃদ্ধ ও উন্নত করে তুলি।

Today is a very important day for us, because today is 21st February, International Mother Language Day. On this day in 1952, our forefathers gave their lives to recognize Bengali as the national language.
Our mother tongue Bengali is the symbol of our existence. A vehicle for our thoughts, feelings, culture and traditions. On this day, we pay tribute to their courage and sacrifice and pledge to uphold our undying love for the Bengali language and its rich heritage.
We all should use Bengali language properly and contribute to its spread and development. Let us all together make the Bengali language richer and better.
