Rajbondir Jobanbondi (the witness of a political prisoner) is an essay by Kazi Nazrul Islam. The semi-weekly magazine Dhumketu (the Comet), edited by Nazrul, was banned by the British government in 1923. After Nazrul was detained, he wrote this four-page statement while sitting in the Calcutta Presidency Jail on 7 January 1923. When the court asked about his statement, he presented this four-page written statement to the court. Hence known as Rajbondir Jobanbondi.
