Also worth checking the cars tank, engine and radiator for diesel. Oh and go to you tank and see just how much you have, its 150 litre tank so it could be in the red with 10 litres left.

You can siphon fuel from the ai cars and once it enters your fuel tank it doesn’t despawn. That trick has definitely saved me once haha

Now you can detach fuel tanks from some vehicles, you could probably steal a diesel tank off an AI Truck. No need for a siphon.
Oh yes putting a turbo in an AI car does work, and is especially fun if you do it at the top of steep hill.
