Interesting Montgomery Escalators @ Grant Park South Garage - Chicago, IL

(7-30-19) While I was exploring this area, I found these two sets of escalators in the parking garage. It's interesting that a parking garage has single file escalators.

That is a weird setup. Not only do you basically never see escalators in parking garages, but most aren’t in single file like this if you know what I mean.

Sorry for the inconvenience but we cannot reverse the escalators at this time, thats the rules

That tells me that they do reverse them. My guess is when they have big events, they change the direction when the event is over and everyone is leaving.

Reminds me of the parking garage at terminal 1 in STL before it was remodeled and the escalators were removed.
