Whatever people will be doing in 100, 200, 300 or more years, we know that somewhere, Beethoven will be played far, far into the distant future. His music is a gift from our Creator to us to help us endure hard lives on this hard planet.

It's much easier technically to connect à pedal on a notebook

The Borromeo Quartet is know for playing off the score - in other words, all four players can see each other's parts while they play, so they have a fuller interpretation of the music. That vastly increases the number of score pages, so they use foot pedals to turn the pages as well.

Is there ever a performance when the instruments are tuned to their originally designed frequency of 432?
