I've been to many factories like this in China, Hong Kong and Thailand. The quality of work is superb, only a few (usually making ultra cheap goods or fakes) factories tar all Asian goods with the "low quality" tag. I have always been very happy with the products built for me.

From experience, I can tell you that the sound levels around the screw making cold headers didn't do the process justice, they are very noisy. And the air is hot and full of oil smoke/mist.
At least the processes are many steps above how it's done in some countries, where the work is done outdoors, in the dirt, without any worker protection like glasses and gloves. Considerably higher quality than rock-bottom. Still, it's Chinese quality so don't expect every item to be functional or last very long.

I've been in North American factories, many are no different than these in China, from what I could see, none of these were high end factories.
