    Same pump at Walmart is like $23. It's red in color and has the same carry bag and in the unit has the pieces for a soccer ball, etc... Fits nicely in my side case.
    You forget to say that the best thing about it is it's rechargable. No need for battery cables or 12VDC outlet.
    As to it's durability... If it works only once it's paid for itself in headache and stress relief -as long as you didn't forget to pack your tire repair kit!

    • @OlManRonin

      the Hyper Tough (red) available at WalMart is not even close to the AirMoto sorry to say. I bought one and used it for quite a while. It's chinsey, loud and it failed 3 times. I returned it 3 times (not kidding) and finally took it back and they gave me a FULL REFUND. Much to WalMart's credit. If youre looking for a one time air pump then yep, that the one. I am not. HOWEVER, with that said, I'll still testing and using the AirMoto and SO FAR, its been awesome. Thanks so much for the comment and for watching & hopefully subscribing.

    There are many air pumps. I recommend one that runs off of the bikes battery along with a plug kit. Unfortunately, the Himi will require a bit more to correct a flat than a plug kit. Tube tires can be a dirty and time consuming problem when they flat on the road.

    • @mattyb7736
      @mattyb7736 2 года назад

      I just run slime in my tubes, only had one puncture in about 15 years and no matter what, that one was going flat, . 3" cut in the tyre from some glass in that case.
      I carry a decent mountain bike hand pump, takes me about 5 mins to inflate the front tyre on the himmi as a trial run. Yes it involves physical activity but it only runs me flat, not the bike battery. Probably never need it but I have that and spare tubes on board just in case. About 15 mins to change a tube, plus inflation time. Carry some baby wet wipes for cleaning hands afterwards

    A flat tyre is a tyre that has almost zero air pressure in it, rather than an under-inflated tyre! How long does it take the pump to inflate a motorcycle tyre from almost zero PSI to 30 PSI, and is the pump capable of fully inflating the tyre without flattening the battery, or overheating the pump? That would be the full test.

  • @STho205
    @STho205 2 года назад +8

    80-130 dollars is OK if it lasts FOREVER, however these small pumps often burn up if inflation takes more than three minutes several times. So cars and atv tires will likely kill it. It is compact and good for road emergency on a bike.
    I just keep a Slime $12 inflator with motorcycle plug in my tail box. I barely ever use it, but it is faster than this. I went back to using a stand up Gomer/Goober era hand pump in the garage that cost 10 and will never burn up. I can add 10lbs to a small tire in about five pumps (20 seconds) and to the rear tire in twice that time. I can top up a large car tire in about a minute.
    No cords, no charging, no batteries, just hang it on the nail on my wall.

    id say its ok if you need it for a road trip somewhere and get a flat tire out in nowhere, but my guess is if you use this thing more than a few times the battery capacity will drop a bit and that the compressor will wear out, rendering it useless for things like car tires because the battery will die before airing a tire. so more of an emergency and random use tool. what gets me is portable inflators aren't new, you can get some rather small ones that plug right into your power outlet in the car for half the price and be more reliable, ive kept portable inflators in my cars for several decades now and you can find them most anywhere that has auto parts.

    pity that it is very noisy. It would be great if it didn't make any noise, and inflate faster, there it would be a very good product, but having those 2 problems, it looks like one of those Chinese products that flood the world with their poor quality crap.

    This is so basic it’s ridiculous. Do ppl not have a Just Tires in their neighborhood? Cuz they’re pretty much all over. And it takes a few mins but they’ll check and inflate all your tires for free. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’ve done it for the past 3 yrs now and every time it takes them no more than 5 mins or any tire store for that matter. Seriously it’s not that hard ppl.

    Dirt (Off Road) Bikers can get by with murder on tire inflation, but road bikes can't!!! Improper Inflation is most likely the #1 reason for High Speed Wobble. It can happen at any time on any bike for more than 1 reason, but your laziness should not be one of those problems. If you crash due to a High Speed Wobble (45 MPH or Faster) at the very least your going to get hurt, your going into the Hospital for a long stay or last choice You go into the Hospital but don't come out. Those are your 3 choices so pick one of you don't check your tires. I was really bad about this all my life and experienced High Speed Wobble 1 time on a 1978 Honda 750. It comes on QUICK and as soon as you feel it start you know it's going to be bad, you can't stop it or control it (the more you try the worse it gets). As soon as you realize what is happening (if your brain works fast enough) you will wish you were home sitting on the couch instead of riding. Check your tire inflation OFTEN! The reason I do now is because my Kids and Grand kids ride my bikes.
