I get it but week in, week out I do reasonably priced high street clothes and Amazon but I have a lot of followers wanting higher end products so that’s why I try and mix it all up.
I often take a screenshot of what I like, and put it in google image search. You will generally be led to numerous similar items. Hope that helps!

I got those In beige and black. I haven’t worn them yet and not sure why. They are very comfortable. I think the bows are a great idea. I am tempted by the denim colour.

How late into the year can I wear light-colored bottoms and shoes? Here in the U.S. they used to say not to after Labor Day (1st Monday in Sept) but I feel like nobody cares about that anymore.
Nobody cares - wear them as long as you like just pair them with texture as the colder months progress.

Have a watch of the Body Shape Master Class video where I dress ladies with larger stomachs - i think there's 3 or 4 on there. Basically if your stomach is your widest part then thats the starting point of the hourglass figure. So, the only option for you is to broaden your shoulder area and then broaden your hips to match. When you do this your stomach will look smaller and even though you've broadened yourself out, you'll look balanced and therefore a dress size smaller. x

Hello Melissa. I love your videos. My figure is similar to yours but my legs are a bit heavier. I am 5' 4" tall. Can wide leg pants be too wide for someone that is shorter?
Absolutely they can, they can over power their figure and the key is the waistband. As long as you’re showing a proportionally smaller waistband/waistline to the width of your trousers then you’ll be ok but if you don’t go in at your waist and you carry your weight around the middle, then avoid very wide pants x

How do you pull off a 2 piece belly (fat above and below with the waist between the two) with front pleats?
It’s all about the top you pair it with, not the actual trousers. We do 1:1 sessions where we can show you this x

Some interesting looking spring style clothes you were well representing. I generally wear spring like clothes in the English summer months really since I feel the cold more but I do wear summer clothes like shortsleeved shirts if it was a baking hot heatwave and all the rest of it. But wonderful video Melissa and well done on nearly reaching 200k subscribers :-). Very very big well done indeed :-). Its indeed a special milestone :-). Its also nice seeing you looking very pretty as usual aswell as extremely stylish not to mention :-). Sadly I had to recently get rid of a few jumpers because they had excess holes in them which was certainly most painful but will eventually purchase some new ones though fairly soonish. Though they had a roughly good 2 years of being worn but eventually got old and had holes in them and all the rest of it. One of my jumpers until 2023 lasted for about roughly 7 or so years which is indeed a long time I must say Melissa. But some clothes last longer than others at different lengths of timing grip really and all the rest of it. I really also liked the look of your slip on shoes as I think so friends of mine might like them :-). Extremely nice indeed :-). Nice style to them aswell. Is a tweedy jacket going to make a plus sized woman look even bulkier? Ive been choosing flat fabrics to reduce bulk.
The black and white set would look nicer if the print didnt line straight up and down.
The tweed jacket would be fine but keep the layer underneath thin and pair it with trousers/jeans that balance you out. X

Hi Melissa. I am learning so much from you and my previous appointment with Claire. I have watched all your videos and picking up lots of tips. I am probably a bit ahead but as going to a Greek island with my family in 3 weeks I would love any suggestions for beach type jumpsuite and/ or short coords. My grandson aged 18/12 is coming so something practical, I’m in the menopause so don’t want too young and due to some weight gain this is the first year I’m feeling my legs don’t look that great in shorts😢I have ordered some in styles you suggest but just plain linen. Hi Melissa. Thank you so much for another inspiring video. Am thinking of investing in a pair of Aria Vivaia shoes. How would you say their sizing is? Should I order my usual UK size 6 or size up? I have a wide foot.
I find that their ballet flats come up true to size, maybe slightly big but still ok but their loafers come up small. So I’m typically a uk 4.5 and i wear a uk 5 in their loafers and a 4 in their ballet flats.

Love the vivaia shoes, are they good for long narrow feet, I struggle to get ballet shoes to fit well without slipping off. The m&s blazer looked so good on u, I had bought it but returned it, it was too structured round the shoulder area, went for a biker style jacket instead. Another great inspirational video!

I love your style recommendations and have been following your advice. Thank you I look so much more put together. I’m 5’10”177.8 cm) with large bust and wide hips/thighs/calves but no tummy. This makes it challenging to order clothes- tops and jackets don’t button properly and sleeves and inseams are too short. My tops have to be 2 sizes larger than bottoms. Would love if you could include inseam and /or potential for sleeves or trousers to get lengthened by a tailored in the product descriptions.

Do you have any recommendations for Vivaia size? They say they're EU size, but then the measurements on their size chart don't line up with any shoe size chart I've ever seen. Example the EU 38 is supposedly for foot length 24.17 .... that doesn't seem right. Thanks for any help!
I'm a UK 4.5 and in the flat pointed shoes I take a EU37 but in the loafers I have to wear a EU38 (don't know why!). That's about all i can offer you i'm afraid - I never used their foot chart, i just went off the EU sizing....
I went dress shopping last week. Oh dear!😢 I listen to what you tell us and it helps and makes sense, but because im so short, 4'11 (almost) and gained weight during Covid (an excuse, it's my own darn fault), im finding it so difficult. Dresses are so hard because of my short torso. My torso is just short because I am. I'm looking forward to your next short model. I'm wondering if I might have to go for a faux 👗, matching skirt + top??
Yes, that’s often the answer although Antonia, my model next week had a short torso and I managed to find her some lovely pieces and she was a size 12-14 and 5ft. I’ve just got to edit the video then it will be up!
Hi just a quick question, I suffer with plantar fasciitis and a chilies tendinitis so getting flats to support and cushion my foot is very difficult. Is there any you would suggest . The ones you show don't look supportive enough although lovely. Trying to get loafers that look good and support my feet is a real struggle.

Hi Melissa, how do you go about styling longer midi skirts on a petite frame? I’m only 5ft and I’ve bought a few pleated skirts that finish just above the ankle, and I’m not sure how to style it properly with footwear to make sure the skirt doesn’t overpower my small frame?

In those Zara trousers I’m wearing a uk 6 which is totally mad as I’m never a 6 but they’re very generous on the hips and small on the waist so I’d definitely size down. X

Another message...Im a 61yr old lady, and last July i joined a weight loss programme at my local gym. Ive lost just short of 3st, going from size 16 to 10/12. Initially, i was wearing really old t shirts and old trackie bottoms. Ive moved onto leggings now, and my old t shirts are getting really scruffy. Now that i am levelling out in weight, i dont mind investing a bit in some nice workout gear, as I'm in the gym 5 days per week. Could you do a video for gym gear please ? Im 4' 10" and busty, 34G, so sports bras are quite difficult to find. Thanks from Sue

I love your styling tips, but it would be great to see how to achieve the same look on a smaller budget - as a comparison. To my mind, most of these clothes, lovely as they are, are not affordable to the "everyday woman".
Most of my videos use items from H&M and other reasonable high street clothes but I have a lot of the audience asking for higher priced items too so generally speaking i'm trying to mix it up a little so it caters for everyone. Unfortunately it's very hard to satisfy everyone with every video but we're trying and we hear you! We have now put into the schedule a monthly amazon video so hopefully that helps.
