Esme, you had me in tears. What a lovely tribute to your beautiful Casper! The pair of you overcame some pretty big obstacles together with sheer grit and determination, along with lots of heart❤. I never had children (my daughter was a Labradoodle named Annie Oakley LOL), I would have wished for a girl as wonderful and amazing as you. I absolutely love all your vlogs Esme. Don’t ever stop doing them, you are a total inspiration to thousands of riders, & of course inspired me too. I’m 62 & had a 30 year gap in riding. I was so nervous starting again, but watching you learn & grow has given me a load more confidence. So thank you so very much☺️
LOVE this tribute to casper! especially where you talked about how much you struggled with him at first, but still are incredibly thankful for him. reminds me of my family's first cat - he was an absolute terror sometimes when we were growing up, but my mom loved him dearly. and without him, we never would have had cats at all - and that is simply unthinkable now. without him i would not have taken the chance on a 5-week-old kitten who needed a home and who became my precious child who i adore, even when she's driving me crazy. (she'll be 5 YEARS old in a couple of months, can't believe it.)
Casper is such a big part of the channel, and I'm so glad I got to watch you and him grow up together

Wow, Casper has really progressed with you, and you have progressed with him. Green horses are always gonna be nervous, anxious, sassy, honestly everything, but with work and love, you can get through it. ❤
He’s really well-ridden with you, 10 years for a horse, that’s insane, Casper is 17 years old then. (Or 16 depending on when his birthday is).
You still have more good years with him. Good job Esme at training such a young horse, despite it not having a great start, he’s progressed, and so have you. ❤
I used to have a gray Conamara pony like Casper. I couldn’t canter her without her trying to buck me of because she was young and green. Sadly we had to sell her because I was quite young and she was holding me back. But it’s awesome to see how you worked with Caspy and now he is amazing!!!!!❤

i have been watching your channel sense 2015 you inspired me a lot and growing up, and i wanted to be just like you. when i was getting ready to get my first horse i was binge watching all your videos and loved all the horse tip videos. even now i remember how much more you made me love horses. i am so thankful that you still make videos and inspire more people everyday.🤩🤩🤩

I think I started watching you regularly in 2018-2019, and I got my own horse in 2017. It was nice seeing that someone else also struggles sometimes, and has struggled even more - cause my horse wasn't easy either. She is now gonna turn 21, she's fit and so happy. We are mostly just doing trail riding, things from the ground and a bit of small jumps here and there. But she has been there through such hard times for me, and with studying at university it's so nice to come out to here and just breathe.
We need to give our horses more credit, they are such amazing animals. I'm so happy for you and Casper and the others ❤
Esme you are so talented. You are the one who encouraged me to keep riding. Because I fell off 3 weeks in a row. 3 times in every lesson I was petrified to get back on. I looked at your videos and you got me determined to get back on and now I am coming first in all my competitions. Thank you so much

I’ve already commented but I have something else to say, This proves that everyone starts from somewhere and look where you can be ! No one started of as a pro, but you can become a pro by training and having fun along the way. Nothings easy, you can see all these falls and fails but she kept going and now look at Esme she’s amazing! NEVER EVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS ANYONE ❤❤

Wow! I can’t only dream that this we be my horse and I in 8 years we’ve been together for 2 and we’re 7 and 12 like Esme and Casper when we met. I started watching you sporadically in 2016 the year I moved out to my very first apartment. I do remember you as a brunette 😅 and I remember when the saddle pads started to rain in.
I myself can no longer ride due to my disability worsening but thanks to your videos I still have something horse in my life. I had 12 wonderful years in the physical horse world and thanks to your videos they are now continuing digitally somewhere in the English countryside.

This has been so motivating to see as I am on a journey similar to yours.
Aside from a Shetland pony who I had from 6 months old until she passed away in April last year, I have never had a ready-made or experienced horse.
When I began to outgrow the Shetland, my parents went looking for a new pony, and unfortunately we could not find one except a 4 year old pony. Luckily my mum was experienced but at the age of 9 my family bought this pony. I'm proud to say that he turned out very well to sheer determination and luck, and I still have him today. When I outgrew him at the age of 11/12, we again went on another hunt, and though I originally didn't want another young horse, I ended up with another 4yo, at the age of 13, as it took a full 2 years to find even a youngster. From then on I've being working with him, and though sometimes it feels impossible we're defintely improving.
This is so lovely to see, and I'd like to remind everyone with any horse that progress can be slow but you will get there.

That is a very big journey! I'm so glad Casper has been the best horse you can ask for :) I have just purchased my first horse as I have graduated school, and I am working full time with racehorses. You are an idol to me as I would love to do something with content creation and make videos of different things. I wasn't raised horsey, and I have only been riding consistently for just under 3 years now. I have watched you for a very long time and I love everything you stand for and do. I wish you and Casper the best for this year 💚
