  • This is the ending if you betray Reed in "Firestarter" and decide to kill him and let Songbird leave. Songbird just betrays you and you kill Reed for nothing. S U A L also left somewhere in this path proving how unhappy of an ending this is.

    I think this is the best outcome personally. Reed would just turn her over anyways, at least someone gets freedom.

      For me this was the worst outcome. We kill endless amount of people under the pretense of us getting the cure only for us to kill reed and getting betrayed by songbird. On top of we dnt know whether mr. blue eyes has good intentions of songbird or curing her and using her as his own tool/weapon. Songbird imo carelessly betrays her friends/comrades by manipulating them so her getting the happy ending was unjust.

    Not really a bad ending, V selflessly saves another person who's in their shoes, gives NUSA (and Arasaka if you pick don't fear the reaper ending) a huge "fuck you" and becomes an even bigger living legend by fucking over NUSA and selflessly saving another life instead of their own.
    This ending practically cements V's status as a complete living legend

      this is incredibly based if you do don't fear the reaper in tandem. literally giving the entire nus government and 2 biggest megacorps in the world a giant middle finger simultaneously and getting away with it.

      And you move to the space, same as songbird, transported by one and only mr blue eyes, with potential of meeting in the future

      that is literally the only legit reason for this ending, is if your on an anti gov/corp playthrough. All this shit about 'doing the right thing' and 'setting Songbird free' is bullshit. If Songbird were a fat old balding guy with a combover, no one would sympathise with Songbird@@Garland846

    The only good ending for me.
    She needed us, hell woulda helped her if she was honest or no. But she needed us. And I wasn’t gonna abandon her.

    Like others in the comments : this is the best ending. Fuck Myers, fuck Militech, fuck Arasaka !
    I'm sad that I had to kill Reed but he made his choice...

    Johnny is happy, but this is the WORST possible outcome for everyone but Songbird.

    That's actually the best ending, because out of all this mess, only one person gets fairly happy, but deserved ending - Alex. She gets exactly what she asked for initially - to leave this job and have a proper retirement in Monaco or smth similar.

    This one and killing Songbird are actually a "good endings". In both of them she won't be enslaved by NUSA. Personally I think the worst one is the one with Reed where you betray Songbird, kill Johnny (engram) and basically damage your body so badly that V becomes a cripple with no friends and no job.

    In my opinion this is not a "BAD" ending... I felt like not giving Song up to Reed aligns with what Song wanted in the end, "freedom".

    I just realized this ending is like v and goro how they met goro could've turned v in clear his name but instead choose to save him/her and in this v chose to help songbird the same way songssongbird

    Agreed, helping a scheming, Blackwall AI possessed callous cyborg escape to the Moon after stabbing everyone in the back you included, basically sealing your death and possibly an AI takeover given that Mr Blue Eyes is her backer is the worst ending.
    The others on here saying its the best ending are simps.... " bu bu bu but, muh cyborgs waifu freedom is more important than my survival, even though up until now I've been fighting for my own survival "

    • @Tsumefan2
      @Tsumefan2 8 месяцев назад

      just so you know the cure isnt any better
      sure you are cured of johnny but you wont be able to use cyberware ever again
      thing is what if all phantom liberty endings are bad and there is no true "Good" ending

    • @michaeltownley248
      @michaeltownley248 8 месяцев назад

      @@Tsumefan2 I don't use that much cyberware anyways so no bother there. Johnny said he'd take a bullet for my character so it ain't like he isn't on board with my V living on. Johhny moves on past the Blackwall in the other endings where you won't hear from him again either way, unless he gets brought back for the sequel

      Man people just love to whine. V holds all the cards in that ending you can literally make a choice. Nobody is forcing you to send her anywhere. And what Mr. Blue eyes the same one that V does business with? People loved those endings due to the possibility of V finding a cure through him. But when it comes down to somebody else’s survival we all of sudden remember how evil he is and the possibility of an AI invasion 💀

      As much as I don't like her antics and rat behaviour she doesn't deserve to be a Blackwall conduit for the rest of her life just so Myers could achieve her political goals.
      Doing this ending and Don't Fear the Reaper is my preferred ending. Your friends get to live, you screw over Myers and severely damage two of the most powerful megacorps in one fell swoop.
