Hi colombowest, frankly i dont know the exact amount for 1.8 model. I am not a mechanic but i think more or less it is the same. Check you dip stick when pouring the oil. From my experience, 5w30 will lose viscosity quicker that 5w40, because it is hot here
@@83hassan26 Thanks for the info. Its cold here in NZ and so I used 5W30. By the looks of it, you used a 4 ltr can of oil which I did too but still it didnt reach the top point in stick so I think it should be 4.2Lts of oil? Thanks once again.
First time changing my oil and this video was my walkthrough and I Did great thanks a lot
Fill oil filter with oil so that it soaks in , before it goes on, when use car, no bubbles, no delay.
Heh, great video. Maybe use wheel ramps to get at engine ….
Thanks a lot for the tip. I am now practising that.
Never reused the drain plug washer because if has been compressed already. Reusing it might cause leaks.

Sincerely, i dont no. I am not a mechanic. Just a regular guy enjoying DIY
very good work.
At what interval did you change that oil ? it seemed pretty dark to me
~5000KM, i think it is due the hot climate here. the oil degrades faster
How much of oil did you pour in? I have a 1.8 wish so is it the same? Can you use 5w30 full synthetic?
