I've never seen anything like this. I used to think of embroidery along the lines of knitting or crocheting but not this. What a talented artist. Beautiful.
I saw a portrait of a lady embroidered like this in Viet Nam. It was a studio and there were also many women at a long fabric embroidering on the same piece. The displays for sale were beautiful and looked like paintings.
It’s called needle painting or thread painting. If you want to start learning it, I recommend Trish Burr courses
This requires a lot of patience and skill..it’s not just needle and stitching-it’s art! Very beautiful 😍

Моя мама вышивала гладью в разной технике. Мне, к сожалению, не досталось такого же умения от неё. Но играть с цветами и оттенками можно и в вышивке крестиком.

Возможно,что вашей дочке или внучке передастся умение вашей мамы. Моя бабушка и её младшая сестра были рукодельницами (бабушка - вязала и вышивала,её сестра - вышивала). Маме к сожалению не досталось их умения, а я и вяжу (вернее когда то вязала), а в последнее время увлеклась вышиванием крестиком (говорят,что хорошо получается)
Моя мама вышивала также гладью,но к сожалению а таком большом количестве оттенков разного цвета и не могла даже мечтать.
@@irinamalika7266 К сожалению и дочка, и внучка не по вышивке! Дочь портная, работает в ателье, но не закройщица, только по пошиву. После училища работала в ателье класса "люкс". Внучка вообще в других сферах. А потом, у большинства начинает падать зрение, а у меня близорукость - мне это не грозит. А в руках навыка нет.
Вязала с детства. Крючком, спицами. Сейчас необходимость в таком рукоделии отпала. Спасибо за ответ!🤗🌹

For me the highlight was at 6 min when you did the underside of leaves with the veining. Great contrast in texture. Wonderful artist.👏🏻
