Forget that last part.
If the car didn't have the history behind, I think it would be one of the biggest ricer Supra's ever made. But because of the history, I love it.
Hope the dacota finds a home. It was mint. Good luck hoovie.
That truck does deserve to spend it's life on a plinth somewhere.
NOT THE WOODIE😭 a sad day for a fella who was happy to have a RUclipsr with a 51 Ford
"Just like a normal car...made your day huh?" - auto auction guy
Glad I saw you commented before I did, that guy was totally unphased by the fact that he was driving an original Fast and Furious Supra 😂
I know no one will care but I sat in this exact supra 2 years ago and just talked to the former owner 2 days ago that said he sent it off to Vegas for Barret-jackson. Yes the engine bay was disgusting back then too 😂
He’s such a enthusiastic guy
@@armyson55 That is his job. I wonder how many $millions worth of cars he moves about when they do an auction like that.
Craig Lieberman is currently building a replica Hero Supra. It can be viewed on his channel and another as well. It's being replicated as close as possible to the original hero car once owned by him.
So cool seeing you on Barett Jackson, you’ve earned it!
I'm sad to see the dodge go too soon but yeah, too nice for a run-around truck.
Wow I never figured the Woodie Wagon would go up for sale this soon. The Dakota was expected by me though.
Yea, we all knew the Dakota was a short-timer. The woodie wagon just isn't his type. I was kinda shocked he bought it in the first place. I guess it's no surprise he didn't think enough of it to do at least one feature video on it before flipping it.
This is just one of the many stunt cars from the movie, not the actual hero1 car. At least its not a replica.
I had that white caddie you referred to as a boat. Mine was a 72 Calais. Fun car with great lines for a boat. I miss it
That is super cool that you are part of the Barrett Jackson show. I'll be watching as I can.
Country squire sold for $44k, Dakota for $27.5k, Supra for $500k
I'm starting to think we won't have a 'Vette/Woody drag race.
😭
Why's the rollcage black? Not screen accurate, lost half of it's value already!
All you D-bags showing up I the comments
HAHAHAHA! The NOS'd Prius vid was the very first video I seen of your channel. Been hooked on this channel every since then! hahahaha!!!! Great stuff as always! Someone needs to buy Paul's Supra and lock that thing away in a bulletproof glass vault!
Yet another great vid dude!
You better not mess this car up. This is a piece of history that you should cherish and consider you're most precious and valuable vehicle.
[Stunt coordinator]"Hey, we need another Supra for the movie. Anybody know where to get one?"...[make up artist] "my mom has one"
Maybe 10 years ago, I saw an old lady driving a bone stock white 4th gen Supra
I was actually looking forward to you driving the Ford and now you never will.... :(
I can’t believe you’re selling the Country squire!
Good luck Hoovie booth on the cars and the hosting!
I own three of the same/similar model cars used in the original Fast and the Furious but have them styled differently. A 1994 Toyota Supra, a 1993 Mazda RX7 and a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I cannot believe how much the 1994 Supras are going for. I bought mine used with 23,000miles in 1998 and mainly use it for a weekend and summer car. I may sell it off and buy a New Corvette. Fun video as always.
"A very fast Supra" - Paging Freddie and Jared
No we want to see it actually finished. .!!🤣🤣
I think those 2 are to busy falling out and getting a divorce from their bromance
@@EFFEZE what happened with Jared...???
@@MrMaxyield also interested, but not enough to invest time in to research. Hope someone gives us a quick overview lol. Tavarish is so full of it and full of himself, I quit watching 2 years ago.
@@Renee_R343 yea his lack of actual talent and lame sarcasm made me stop watching about a year ago... That and he can't ever seem to finish a car or even drive one...
"I drove it too" - Slapjack 😂
The funny thing is that this Supra got restored back to the "The Fast And The Furious" look, since it was actually re-used in "2 Fast 2 Furious".
So, what you see here wasn't how the car actually was in the first movie...
Not even the seats or steering wheel...
So as far as I know, the parts that are on the car now, never were on the Supra in 2000 during filming, and Paul never touched them (seats and steering wheel).
Pretty crazy that it got sold for $550.000 ...
That supra is gorgeous. Nice R/T too.
Got a chance to see this car out in my little town in North Carolina for a minute, had just been purchased from Mecum, funny to see its made it way out to you! Couldn't believe it was an auto/NA!!
NOOO!! Not Woody!! Should have made a small trip with Frank, kinda like a trip back through time. A man and his dog go fishing, that sort of thing. But you do what you must. Sad though.
Cant wait to see how much this brings at Barrett
Someone said 87,500
WhistlinDiesel bought the Dakota R/T for his next durability test after he destroyed that mint Toyota Hilux.
What a fucking loser for destroying all those vehicles
@@johnstanley8091 gets paid for it
Awesome video as always Hoovie! Didn't catch the auction, hope it went well.
Though Barrett Jackson cars were vetted. Concerned they sell hoopties
Best comment nobody found!
So the only "stock" supra is the one featured in the Fast and Furious movie.
Was waiting for Tuyler to review the old Ford pickups right there by the way
Actually this is a secondary car. The original it was based on actually did have all those go fast mods already done do it.
You MUST buy Ecto - 1, that has to be in your collection!
There is nothing else on that floor I'd want more.
Nice to see you offloading that Dakota. I foresaw you ruining it.
Good luck with the auctions, Hoovie!
The "pull my finger" man was such a fun poke at Troy Lee Designs back in the early 2000's .. telling him to stick to dirt bikes.
And this is the moment Hoover jumped the shark.
Well it’s been nice boys , see you on the other side .
that prius engin fail is still one of the funniest moments on youtubes car scene form me
I recall that Prius lookalike Tribute made it onto @DailyDrivenExotics! Looked pretty cool at first.
The car that made all old Supras shoot up in value.
Luckly MKIII's are still pretty reasonable, picked up an 88' garage queen 115K miles last week for $8K. Absolutely stunning to look at.
@@rushnerd I had one. The tailgate leaked, the body under the back seats leaked and the seat bottoms would get damp, and the head gasket leaked 3 times. I only fixed that twice.
@@hk-wr2jt Yeah the hatchback door seals have some wear, but are still good. The spare wheel well (which is the first sign of rust and the state of the car) has VERY minimal rust spots.
The head gasket was replaced in the last 10-15K miles (thank god). Car should honestly be fine, even the Targa top seems in good shape, not about to take it off though. It's an aging car, but no where near as bad as some, let alone older cars. It's worth the price of admission VS what you could buy newer for the same money.
It would be cool to buy a popular car from the 90s-early 2k tuning era (Integra, Eclipse, Cavalier ETC..) and build it in that type of style, if you could do a supra replica+period correct tribute that would be awesome
Noooooooooo the country's squire was the coolest car you owned! I was looking forward to seeing it run!
