I wouldn't be too bothered with the lack of Google Play Services as I don't really use any Google service (RUclips I use Vanced anyway) but I will NOT pay for a phone without them the same I'd pay for a phone with them. That being said, the presence of a notch and lack of a headphone jack are far more immediate deal breakers for me than the presence or absence of Google's bloatware.
That review is processing, I've bumped up my videos to 4K as of today, so the export is taking its sweet time. I'll post it tomorrow Shawn. I want to make more reviews but they take the most time to shoot and edit, and get the least views unfortunately, so I won't do them for all phones while the channel is growing. Yeah - there's no way it won't not let you install APKs - that's a given with Android, and even Huawei's Harmony OS will be able to run Android apps aparently. If I can't side-load the Play Store though, It's a tough sell as apps won't be updated automatically, game saves would be lost from device to device etc. You can, currently side-load the Google Play services onto Chinese phones, but if Google tightened up its security, that'd be a deal-breaker for even the techies in my opinion...
@@techeditotg Huawei's links with the CCP. Western governments are legitimately concerned about awarding contracts to Huawei for telecommunication infrastructure projects, for example the 5G rollout, which could allow spying and cyber espionage.

Hint- there are many evidences that CISCO (US based company) was forced by US Government to implement back-door script in their products & that back-door script is used many times by US agencies like NSA, CIA, FBI & others. Another hint- do you remember who tapped Angela Merkel's phone? Yes, it was some US agency- choose one... So, you don't trust China, I don't believe in US's good intentions to protect people from "bad communist" - I don't know who is wrong or right, but definitely our concerns are serious.
