I will always love that car. Such a beautiful design. Still fresh and modern looking. I never heard it mentioned so I don't suppose, being so low to the ground, this car has a lift in it like Lamborghini did? That's the ONLY complaint I have with my XJ-it should have a lift...I've scraped the underside of the front on steep driveways. Have had it repaired twice. It's not noticeable but I know it's there.
Fuck man, I’m from near Newcastle and I would have walked there just to see it, I thought there was only one in Australia, that belonged to Doug Mulray. It’s been my all time dream car, with the F40, and I’ve never even seen them in the flesh and I’m 43 this year. Even today, it is the most beautiful supercar ever built. Ever. Absolutely stunning.
It sounds like you have a deep passion for cars, particularly the McLaren F1, and the F40. It's clear that these cars hold a special place in your heart, and it's understandable that seeing one in person would be a dream come true
@@Jasmine_DD I’ve never driven either but I’ve done 245kph in a Porsche 911, and 225 in a Ford Falcon I built myself, 210 in another Falcon and 200 in another Falcon I own.
@@thesausage351 That sounds like quite the adrenaline rush! It must have been an exhilarating experience to reach those speeds in such powerful cars. It's great that you were able to build your own Ford Falcon and push it to its limits
He doesnt mention the lack of brakes.. so this model must have had a brake servo fitted. My xj220 could not be easily stopped at low speeds even using extreme force on the pedal as it had no servo . I could manage 185mph through france to switzerland and yes those looks.. i added a sports exhaust to mine too.. still have the original exhaust in my garden shed!
@@jareknowak8712 I actually have a famous poster of Dean Martin in his dressing room in Hollywood back in 1961. It's framed unlike my Jag XJ220 poster which ended up worn out and torn to bits.
Have always felt it surreal how some people are oblivious to cars in general and others get neck strain when they see something of significance drive by.
btw this car is currently sitting in a show room underneath milsons point train station that tunnel that he passes at 1:25 if you turn left there bout half way down that street when you turn left again you will see many expensive hyper cars in a showroom
i still think this is the best looking car to this day lol a car doesn't need to sound super special or super noisy (which is what alot of people like) it performs even to this day extremely well i don't like a noisy car myself , i saw a car a while ago which was strange ...looked like an audi a4 (in size and similar shape) but this thing was like it was moving with no engine , i stood and had a look while it was stopped at light on a main road and i ushered him to floor it ........and jesus christ this thing took off ...sounded like a really high pitched jet turbine extremely powerful no tire spin just pure grip and this thing was gone in a second........i was shocked. reminded me of rally type cars on the road.
Dream car. I've had a beautiful 1/12 scale model of one for a good 25 years It really hurts to know there is/was one in Sydney and never new. I heard there was one for sale in Sydney last year, dark red colour? What does it cost to insure such a car? How expensive are the tyres? Cruising around, what sort of fuel economy does it get? Heavy clutch, brakes and steering? How often does it get serviced? Cost of a basic service? I'll never have the chance to own that unicorn, but have always wanted to know those basic user questions about. Obviously if you can afford it, you don't care about fuel economy, it's more of a curious question being that it's a V6 and how it would compare to an Aventador (for example).
these cars from that particular era are becoming priceless ..I am not rich but I am looking for a Porsche 928 right now , thats what I can afford..hope I am not giving spoiler 😂
Hahaha... Space shuttle enter sydney... Im pretty sure if i just taxi a single prop airplane around the city, everyone would also be looking.. nice car btw

I think most people just think it looks weird and doesn't know wtf it is and that's why it's a head turner haha
*5:40*
Cleetus is in this vid??!? Welp, thats a good easter egg 😂
Just perfection.. (the car) 👍🏻
They gonna crash staring at this piece of beautiful machine
Looks totally awesome not surprised by the reaction it got 🤩
They should remake the XJ220 using carbon fibre instead on steel. It still looks modern and Hot!
i get alot of looks in my genesis...ppl have no idea what car it is but they love it lol.
Priceless reactions
An XJ220 in Aus? Jesus what a dream
@@Jasmine_DD I’d give a lot to drive and F40 and an XJ220.
@@thesausage351 How was the top speed you drive ?
@@Jasmine_DD I’ve never driven either but I’ve done 245kph in a Porsche 911, and 225 in a Ford Falcon I built myself, 210 in another Falcon and 200 in another Falcon I own.
@@thesausage351 That sounds like quite the adrenaline rush! It must have been an exhilarating experience to reach those speeds in such powerful cars. It's great that you were able to build your own Ford Falcon and push it to its limits
Not enough people staring at it imo.
I would flip, that jag is so rare and cool.
I love the XJ220! ✌
Nice video!
Thank you...!

You're welcome!
Some time it worth buying exotic car, truly timeless that thing🤤
Man I wish I was in the city that day you were driving around haha
Stevie P don’t we all wish
That seat position looks so comfortable for a supercar!
I had a poster of one of these on my bedroom wall when I was 10 yrs old. Now I'm 36.
What poster do You have now?
:)
@@jareknowak8712 I actually have a famous poster of Dean Martin in his dressing room in Hollywood back in 1961. It's framed unlike my Jag XJ220 poster which ended up worn out and torn to bits.
I once saw one in British racing green. It passed me on the motorway in England but I was in a truck, limited to 60mph so I didn't see it for too long.
love the reaction videos! please do more!
omnipotent being yes plz
Masterpiece, they need to do another car like this with all tecknology that we have nowadays
Great content as always hahah the bloopers
Cheers...!
stunner, of the chart
Have always felt it surreal how some people are oblivious to cars in general and others get neck strain when they see something of significance drive by.
btw this car is currently sitting in a show room underneath milsons point train station that tunnel that he passes at 1:25 if you turn left there bout half way down that street when you turn left again you will see many expensive hyper cars in a showroom
It's definitely a very beautiful car!
More bloopers at then end please! Loving your work.
Is this the same XJ220 you had in the videos a few months prior filling up too?
Rolls87 I would say so colour is same and look same and none in Australoa
The McLaren F1 is indeed a legendary and iconic supercar, known for its performance and design
i still think this is the best looking car to this day lol a car doesn't need to sound super special or super noisy (which is what alot of people like) it performs even to this day extremely well
i don't like a noisy car myself , i saw a car a while ago which was strange ...looked like an audi a4 (in size and similar shape) but this thing was like it was moving with no engine , i stood and had a look while it was stopped at light on a main road and i ushered him to floor it ........and jesus christ this thing took off ...sounded like a really high pitched jet turbine extremely powerful no tire spin just pure grip and this thing was gone in a second........i was shocked. reminded me of rally type cars on the road.
Beautiful car, design isn’t the same today
Like Clarkson said, turbo the size of a dustbin haha. Timeless car
Dream car.
I've had a beautiful 1/12 scale model of one for a good 25 years
It really hurts to know there is/was one in Sydney and never new.
I guess you had the 1/12 Maisto one. I have the 1/18 Maisto in Silverstone green they're dope cars.
@@Toxic2T They suck...Top Marques models fo a PROPER 1/18 now....it aint cheap tho
That is my favorite car in the world literally
Most beautifull car of the 90s
Love it!
Oshan Wijeratne ii
It's my dream car I hope I will drive it before I get old 😌
If I had the cash that's my first choice car and the best bit is servicing and keeping up together myself😊
2024 watching this and thinking when is your next one coming?
these cars from that particular era are becoming priceless ..I am not rich but I am looking for a Porsche 928 right now , thats what I can afford..hope I am not giving spoiler 😂
Lol, the ending!, what a car!
Hahaha... Space shuttle enter sydney... Im pretty sure if i just taxi a single prop airplane around the city, everyone would also be looking.. nice car btw
Love your video By the way I own two Xu 220 s only thing is they are 1 /43 scale models Wish Iwas in Sydney when you made the video Any chance of coming to Melbourne cos I ve never seen one in real life and would love to see one
Great British Of All Time Car👌
Everyone is like, “Hey, I drove that in Gran Turismo!!”
