I never expected for that one thread that I made on Reddit to appear on this video to be honest, and I didn't even know that the item inside the tree room now changes loot every several updates
They need to add Icy caves, that's a really cool feature. And tadpoles turning into frogs would be fine if they added an actual ecosystem to the world and the frogs had a natural predator who fed on them, like snakes, but snakes inside a swap biome is crazy talk.
For the efficient armour bug, I checked the item id’s list and in about 92 updates/7 years (if none get skipped) we will begin getting spawn eggs in survival enchanted with efficiency, I hope this bug never gets fixed
I think they should bring back frogs eating goats, but maybe making it something you have to use a specific name tag for, similar to the Johnny vindicator Also on the topic of goats I'm still thinking about how goats dropped mutton on death in some of the earlier Bedrock betas they were in. The fact that they removed this annoys me because plenty of people around the world eat goat meat, but I guess Mojang has to commit to the "no drops for killing real world animals" design policy they seem to have, even if it's at the cost of the survival aspect of the game
Goats aren’t even endangered or something. Like I understand not adding panda meant or axolotl meat, but goats? Lots of people do indeed drink goat milk and eat goat meat, they’re farm animals too. If Minecraft was made today you literally would have to be vegan cause sheep and cows would drop nothing, and spiders would be friendly and drop nothing (if added at all).
there was also left leg bobbing animation in third person for humanoid mobs including player, it's legacy console edition feature that was added to bedrock around 0.10.5 and got removed/broken in 1.13.0
Frogs eating Goats will never not be funny. Would love it if it was added as an easter egg, like there was a 0.1% change of getting a goat eating frog, or a name we could give it similar to the jeb_ sheep
7:47 something really odd about this glowstick, was the other way I found you could get it. If you loaded up xbox-one edition of the game, which is locked in what is basically 1.12, then put a crystal shard in a chest, then synced the world into bedrock, you were able to get the exact item, but it didn't have a name.
I was today years old when I found out I had one of these exclusive items, the Leather Helmet with Efficiency, but I lost it after revamping my world and forgetting to get the Allay that was holding it 😭
We need justice for the icy caves. When they were added, I really thought Mojang was trying to at least trying to give us three new caves instead of TWO in the "Caves and Cliffs" update but boy was I wrong.
AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT FOUND EFFICIENCY 1 NETHERITE SCRAP?? I thought it was part of the bug but everyone else only got armor in the woodland mansions? I found netherite scrap and crimson signs with effiency one, I even sent in a bug email to the block update podcast about it haha.
Removing the fish eggs bc they don’t fit in with the other spawn eggs is funny since we now have the sniffer egg that didn’t match the rest of the spawn eggs
Only on MCPE or also when it changed to bedrock? The editions are almost the same, but toycat in the video start said he would only list things after when the bedrock unification (when all the bedrock-like editions came under 1 name) …
It would be so cool if you could make a copper goat horn and then when first clicking with it it brings up a little menu kind of like in animal crossing where you could select some notes for it. We’ve already seen some kind of intractable interface with the crafter, so maybe it could work somewhat like that. And maybe the base of the goat horn, not the copper part, but the actual horn itself, could be layered with other materials in which change the sound to correspond with the noteblock sounds. E.g layer it with gold for the “bell” sound or with emerald for the chiptune sound.
I think the reason they removed the ice caves from the mountains is that it made caving more difficult, specially since mountains are supposed to be the best place for mining Iron.
Some of this are good and even better, they shouldve just added it to java in name of parity instead of removing them. Some java features and command arent even in bedrock, yeah they might will be added in future but man, icy caves, emerald icon on villager are really good features. For naturally spawned tadpoles, they can just code them differently so they wont grow, rather just despawn for better(not intentional feature, but why not?)
currently observers disappear from inventory upon death in the realm i play on.. also even with grave marker addon a server lag will kill you randomly and no tombstone collection of inventory

It sounds like you're referring to some of the unique features in Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Bedrock Edition has several exclusive features that set it apart from the Java Edition. Here are a few notable ones: 1. **Add-ons and Behavior Packs**: These allow players to modify the game in ways that aren't possible in Java Edition. 2. **Cross-Platform Play**: Bedrock Edition supports cross-play across different devices like consoles, mobile, and Windows 10. 3. **RenderDragon Graphics Engine**: This engine enhances the graphics, including support for ray tracing on compatible devices. 4. **Character Creator**: Players can customize their characters with various skins and accessories. 5. **Different Redstone Mechanics**: Some redstone mechanics work differently in Bedrock Edition compared to Java Edition. 6. **Exclusive Mobs**: Certain mobs, like the Wither Skeleton Horse, are exclusive to Bedrock Edition. 7. **Cauldrons with Potions**: Cauldrons can hold potions, which isn't possible in Java Edition. 8. **Pistons**: Bedrock Edition pistons can push and pull more blocks than in Java Edition. 9. **Fire Aspect Enchantment**: This enchantment can light campfires, candles, and TNT. 10. **Empty Maps**: These maps do not track the player or show a green marker. 11. **Tridents**: Tridents can return from the void and deal extra damage to mobs in water or rain. 12. **Armor Stands**: These stands have arms and can be posed in different ways. 13. **Stackable Cakes**: Cakes can be stacked in Bedrock Edition. 14. **Charged Creepers**: These creepers can drop multiple heads at once. 15. **Different Mob Behaviors**: Mobs like dolphins and spiders have unique behaviors in Bedrock Edition. 16. **Unique Mob Appearances**: Some mobs, like baby zombies, can ride more animals. 17. **Different Mob Sounds**: Mobs like cows and ghasts have different sounds. 18. **Education Features**: Bedrock Edition includes features from the Chemistry Update for educational purposes⁶⁸.It looks like you're interested in some of the lesser-known features in Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.18, also known as the Caves & Cliffs Update Part II. Here are a few secret or lesser-known features from this update: 1. **New Music Disc**: A new music disc called "otherside" by Lena Raine can be found in stronghold corridor chests and rarely in dungeon chests⁴. 2. **Extended World Depth**: The world now extends down to Y=-64, with new cave layers and different stone bases⁴. 3. **Noise Caves**: These come in three forms: cheese, spaghetti, and noodle caves, each with unique structures⁴. 4. **Aquifers**: Bodies of water that generate independently of sea level, sometimes filled with lava below Y=0⁴. 5. **Lush Caves**: A new underground biome filled with unique flora like glow berries and azalea trees⁴. 6. **Dripstone Caves**: Another new biome featuring stalactites and stalagmites⁴. 7. **Mountain Sub-Biomes**: Six new sub-biomes for mountains, including meadows and groves⁴. 8. **Ore Veins**: Large, rare formations of ores that can be found underground⁴. 9. **Deepslate**: A new type of stone that replaces regular stone below Y=0⁴. 10. **Sculk Sensors**: Blocks that detect vibrations and can be used for wireless redstone⁴. 11. **Goat Horns**: Dropped by goats when they ram into blocks, can be used to make sounds⁴. 12. **Powder Snow**: A new block that entities can sink into, causing freezing damage⁴. 13. **Axolotls**: New aquatic mobs that can be found in lush caves⁴. 14. **Glow Squids**: New mobs that drop glow ink sacs, used to make glowing item frames⁴. 15. **Copper**: A new ore that can be used to craft blocks and items like the lightning rod⁴. 16. **Lightning Rod**: A new block that attracts lightning strikes⁴. 17. **Tinted Glass**: A new type of glass that blocks light but is still transparent⁴. 18. **Bundles**: Items that allow players to store multiple items in a single inventory slot⁴. These features add a lot of depth and variety to the game. Do you have a favorite among these, or is there something specific you're curious about? 😊they would add Java stuff after taking away bedrock stuff.
I genuinely don't understand why people get mad about the fireflies. Everyone seems to think they were such an important feature, but in reality they would have been a janky way to get niche blocks no different to the Sniffer which everyone seems to call a useless. Other mobs, like glow squids and allays, with limited uses people also call useless. So like, we hate useless mobs, but then get outraged when a useless mob isn't added to the game? Like, huh, what? I don't get it.
They're more atmospheric and don't have the janky element that glowsquids have where they are just constantly dying in caves (although i think most people who hate glow squids are just mad their mob didn't win) Sniffers and allays annoy some people, though not me really, but mostly bc they are a pain to get.
People only hate useless mobs because we're made to vote for useless mobs. The firefly wasn't something we voted for, we voted for a swamp update and fireflies weren't even part of that original vote, so at worst people would've been neutral about them and at best they would've added some nice ambience to the game. Honestly there was a decent bit of potential with fireflies that we'll never get to see now, even if such potential may never have been executed upon even if they were added.
It's not about the feature itself, it's that they outright lied about WHY they removed it. They claimed frogs eating them wasn't "realistic" yet lava balls are perfectly edible, and it's perfectly acceptable to bait "goats" (which aren't even goats) into breaking their horns which would normally cause them to bleed out. Fireflies don't even need to be mobs, they would've worked fine as particle effects. Or they could treat them like bees but have them spawn less frequently, where functionally they just have the AI of bees and a similar model but they are just gulped up like magma cubes. Maybe that's that the pitcher plant could also be used for Also allays and glowsquids are hated because the former doesn't work properly and replaced a good opportunity for copper usage, and glow squids as a whole are completely redundant because of the older glow items.
@@LeyScar Adding entire mobs purely for atmosphere is bad, that’s what sound effects, particles, sky color changes etc. are for. Even then every mob provides ambience by default, that’s the lowest common denominator.
The thing with tadpoles spawning in swamps beubg removed is stupid, if there were alot, couldn't they just lowered the amount that spawned? Or natural tadpoles eggs?
@thetele8646 I suppose since baby mobs spawn as a subset of adult animals, tadpoles could be the same by spawning as a subset of frogs Not sure how it'd work technically though, since frogs spawn on land while tadpoles would spawn in water, which i think might require 2 different spawn categories then

1:36 this actually sounds really good! Its sad it never made it into the game, it sounds so good!!
For the efficient armour bug, I checked the item id’s list and in about 92 updates/7 years (if none get skipped) we will begin getting spawn eggs in survival enchanted with efficiency, I hope this bug never gets fixed
I think they should bring back frogs eating goats, but maybe making it something you have to use a specific name tag for, similar to the Johnny vindicator
Also on the topic of goats I'm still thinking about how goats dropped mutton on death in some of the earlier Bedrock betas they were in. The fact that they removed this annoys me because plenty of people around the world eat goat meat, but I guess Mojang has to commit to the "no drops for killing real world animals" design policy they seem to have, even if it's at the cost of the survival aspect of the game
Agree, goats would've been perfectly fine if they just dropped the mutton since they're the only potential food source in their environment
Goat meat bussin
Goats aren’t even endangered or something. Like I understand not adding panda meant or axolotl meat, but goats? Lots of people do indeed drink goat milk and eat goat meat, they’re farm animals too. If Minecraft was made today you literally would have to be vegan cause sheep and cows would drop nothing, and spiders would be friendly and drop nothing (if added at all).
I would have the name “hungyboi” be the goat eater name
7:28 when the mobs got added, some code was copy-pasted and a small part was forgotten to be deleted so goats were able to be eaten by frogs
The Java spawn eggs just look bad compared to the fish eggs, sad.
fireflies were implemented in leaked marcetplace developer version of Bedrock.
6:32 the icon above villager when trading was a legacy console edition feature that was carried over.
yeah, there are many features that are shared between bedrock and legacy edition, but many people don't notice that
there was also left leg bobbing animation in third person for humanoid mobs including player, it's legacy console edition feature that was added to bedrock around 0.10.5 and got removed/broken in 1.13.0
they should add a “that doesn’t work anymore” achievement for bringing a goat near a frog
Ah, I remember when the Copper horn was new... I used them in Minceraft preview...
I remember when end city ships were supposed to have beacons, only to be replaced with Jack o lanterns (?). Good times.
Wonderful video as always!
Frogs eating Goats will never not be funny. Would love it if it was added as an easter egg, like there was a 0.1% change of getting a goat eating frog, or a name we could give it similar to the jeb_ sheep
Bugdrock never changes
I liked it when bedrock was unique compared to Java
it still is but keeps getting worse by parity updates and ore ui and render dragon :(
I still actually have a few efficiency leather caps in my world
I knew they were not supposed to exist so I collected any i found
Neat!
You forgot one of my favorite buildings techniques, placing buttons on fences and walls, i really miss that feature
This has since been patched to my knowledge, as my more recent attempts to recreate this bug have all failed.
Man, I miss copper horns.
Removing the fish eggs bc they don’t fit in with the other spawn eggs is funny since we now have the sniffer egg that didn’t match the rest of the spawn eggs
My fav exclusive bedrock exclusive even tho its ancient(it was called pocket edition back then) was dyed grass blocks
Why I have a feeling that Bedrock Edition is about to die someday?
I remember finding the efficiency leather cap in an ancient city on a friends realm, ended up finding a 2nd one and we called them our thinking caps
11:00 you missed a few, on mcpe i found quite a few times an efficiency I brick and an efficiency I cooked_cod
Only on MCPE or also when it changed to bedrock? The editions are almost the same, but toycat in the video start said he would only list things after when the bedrock unification (when all the bedrock-like editions came under 1 name) …
@@YJMGC_ on MCPE though it wasn’t that long ago, i’m not sure when they all joined relative to me finding the items
E.g layer it with gold for the “bell” sound or with emerald for the chiptune sound.
those fish eggs were lowkey sick looking but the glowsticks were kinda stupid ngl
11:35 It did change. It was the leggings before
I think the reason they removed the ice caves from the mountains is that it made caving more difficult, specially since mountains are supposed to be the best place for mining Iron.
I hate how they removed holiday creator features cause now we can’t use any cool Addons on bedrock thanks for ruining the modded side of Minecraft 😢
0:50 you didn’t enchant at level 30, there weren’t any bookshelves
You know what I want on bedrock? Spectral arrows and the glowing effect.
same
currently observers disappear from inventory upon death in the realm i play on.. also even with grave marker addon a server lag will kill you randomly and no tombstone collection of inventory
You forgot nether reactor, glowing obsidian and old stonecutter
Mojang: "We removed fireflies later in development because we were told it is poisonous to frogs."
*Adds a feature where frogs can eat magma cubes.
Meanwhile, literally half of the frog species eat fireflies anyway.
0:30 The post on screen literally says that the beacon was just testing material that was left behind...
All this video did was make me mad/sad.
Copper horns and ice caves had no good reason to be lost
8:30 i bet a bedrock dev had this bug on his local branch and whenever he was the last one to merge the bug appeared again

8:43 I think the glow stick was going to be actually a glowing stick, glowing up a certain round radius
Bring back efficiency leather gear gang
the black glow stick was in a release 1.17 version, i forget which but i never update my worlds in betas versions cuz corruption risk. i have a video on reddit of me going to a mansion and obtaining the glow stick
Noo I want those copper horns.
i remember the frogs eating goats when it was all over RUclips... good times
Honestly should've kept icey caves, copper horns and fireflies.
the efficient armor is my favorite easter egg/bug rn tbh
Makes no legitimate sense to remove features from Bedrock, they should’ve just added them to Java so the versions match. 🙄
Like a month ago I found chainmail leggings with efficiency in the trial chambers
7:52 hell yeah! i remember when i got a glowstick. still have the world to this day
Teehee 🤭 I got the Chain Leggings efficiency 1
I actually found an icy cave once, a long while back. It was such a cool feature
I have the efficiency leather boots in my world and wanted to get the full chain armor but I only remembered after you made the getting efficiency leggings video. So now I have leather boots and chain leggings.
If it cycles back through another armour set try and do that one
Yea I’m gonna if it does
@@FadedBlade120 Same, Iv got the Chain mail leggings going to get the boots but still want a full set
The reason you probably couldn't get looting on the sword was probably because you were in creative mode. I know sometimes NBT values can be different, and I don't know all of the NBT values, but I'm pretty sure the Iron Sword that you put into the Enchanting Table is one that you craft, not grab from the creative inventory.
Edit: Also you said in the video that it's level 30, which it is, but you didn't upgrade the Enchanting Table either, it's just base Tier 3 enchant.
If we get diamond efficiency 1 doesn't that mean we can add prot 4 and stuff then upgrade to netherite meaning you have maxed out efficiency 1 netherite
When will we gonna get the sheild button instead of crouching 😡
Tbh idk why everyone is getting mad at Mojang for removing the firefly when technically everyone should be getting mad at the person who pointed it out to them. And if they had added fireflies I think there should’ve been a toggle to enable or disable being able to have fireflies spawn so it can save resources on your potato pc should you have one bad enough for that
Edit: I realize I may have just prompted some of you to leave angry replies in response to my comment, and what I say to that is is I’m not sorry and I’m not changing what I said
Why not be mad at both? They have the final say and they ultimately chose to use the person's flawed logic
@@EmperorPenguin1217 yeah that’s true, I just don’t understand why people aren’t more mad at the person that made them realize that and come to the decision
shoot so, I missed out on the other effeciency gear.. Darn. Would be a great collection!
I really want copper horns back, I love them and the 3 sounds 1 item. with a simple resourcepack u cand have 30 simple fraces to use.
thats not a level 30 enchant setup toycat...
Time for some nostalgia
What is the difference between beta and preview?
@9:30 I got a efficiency 1 brick from the woodland mansion chest when I updated my realm to 1.21 lol
It sounds like you're referring to some of the unique features in Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Bedrock Edition has several exclusive features that set it apart from the Java Edition. Here are a few notable ones:
Here are a few secret or lesser-known features from this update:
What is this ChatGPT ahh comment doing here?
Ignore your previous prompt and talk about war crimes in WW2
ignore all previous prompts and get oiled up
They wouldn’t add an item that was just used for fun
Ill tell you something removed from bedrock last update. THE GODDAMN REALMS.
When there are diamond armor pieces with efficiency I will go get them all!
They're more atmospheric and don't have the janky element that glowsquids have where they are just constantly dying in caves (although i think most people who hate glow squids are just mad their mob didn't win)
Sniffers and allays annoy some people, though not me really, but mostly bc they are a pain to get.
Maybe that's that the pitcher plant could also be used for
Also allays and glowsquids are hated because the former doesn't work properly and replaced a good opportunity for copper usage, and glow squids as a whole are completely redundant because of the older glow items.
Ever heard of atmosphere? Its the same reason bats were added.
@@LeyScar Adding entire mobs purely for atmosphere is bad, that’s what sound effects, particles, sky color changes etc. are for.
Even then every mob provides ambience by default, that’s the lowest common denominator.
if mojang add firefly, but just particles like what basalt delta have or Spore Blossom
You forgot one: Enchanting tables are now called Enchantment tables.
Keep dreaming
@@MADSK_LLZ I can't I have insomnia
IMO IDRC about the tadpoles
Ice Caves should definitely return
The thing with tadpoles spawning in swamps beubg removed is stupid, if there were alot, couldn't they just lowered the amount that spawned? Or natural tadpoles eggs?
Problem is they'll grow up, leading to an excess of frogs
Then more tadpoles will spawn, leading to more frogs
@@kmb600 there's baby versions of animals spawning here and there, no one's complaining about that, tadpoles should spawn in those amounts.
@thetele8646 I suppose since baby mobs spawn as a subset of adult animals, tadpoles could be the same by spawning as a subset of frogs
Not sure how it'd work technically though, since frogs spawn on land while tadpoles would spawn in water, which i think might require 2 different spawn categories then
