I love watching these but some of these players make Kevin Na and Patrick Cantlay look like speed demons, don't they have a time limit?

Of course they have a time limit, the player has one minute to shoot as the first shot, which starts from the moment he places the ball on the starting platform.

That’s something that’s common in golf too when putting.
You get better controll in the swing/stroke and that is very important
