I've been singing Toneriders praises for quite a few years. I have a P90 Rebel (alnico ll)on the bridge of one of my strats and it is fabulous. It practically outguns any humbucker it comes up against for tone and firepower. They are truly great pups.

I've been using Tonerider pickups for a minute now and they really are great. I ended up swapping and changing between a few different brands in my tele until I realised my favourite sound came from the Hot Classic set from Tonerider and I've stuck with those since. I think it's easy to fool your ears into thinking stuff sounds better because it costs more but really we should be going with what gave us the sound we were after regardless of the price.

Tonerider pickups are so good - have a set of Hot Classics (Alnico III) and an Alnico II bridge. Plan on trying some more - great tones and the push-back cloth makes them easy to install, especially if you’re using a solderless wiring harness 👍

I love Tonerider pickups. I have the hot classic set in my tele and the surfari set in my strat. Something about alnico 3 single coils. Both hot classics and surfari has alnico 3 ❤

I'm actually in the middle of converting a Vintera to Nashville wiring using a 5 way and S-1 switch - much more logical, 7 way+ is just too many oddball settings to remember.
In my case, I have gone with Montys 🤣- works out at £100 per pickup. I'm sort of regretting that decision, because I don't think the guitar is 'good enough' for those pickups. Mulling over a set of these for it, and then using the Montys on something better... decisions, decisions?

What do you think of the Tonerider TRH1 Rocksong Neck Humbucker ?
I am thinking of replacing the one on my G&L Asat Bluesboy 👍🏻

He never tried those ones but I’ve never had a bad sounding Tonerider and have taken them apart so I know they’re incredibly well made

Toneriders are great across the board. They really sound like the 'real' thing they are modelling or slightly better. Hard to be disappointed or critical at this price.
I think they are perfect for upgrading cheaper end guitars
