It’s criminal that Kylie has been slept on in the US. She’s adored worldwide
True! It's probably because unlike "artists" like Madonna, she isn't a US native, and given how nationalistic the US was (especially 25 plus yrs ago), it makes sense that they'd work far harder to promote "one of their own" over Kylie. The biggest gag with Kylie for me, is that unless you've meticulously listened to all of her music across all of her albums, then you've missed her best work without question. Her BEST songs are almost never heard of, and it seems like the ones that DO become hits (especially in the US), are honestly mediocre by comparison. It doesnt make sense how or why this happens with Kylie. Shes the only pop artist (for me) who's made more than twenty five INCREDIBLE bops over the years, clearly with more on way.
@@LD-tn6ff Kylie has a terrific discography - the US ain't worthy of it. Out of the pop divas, her and Janet have the best discography.
@@LD-tn6ffdefinitely agree with the statement I’m from the u.s and never cared for a lot of singles that done great in u.s like love at first sight and yes can’t get you out of my head (not bad by any means just not my cup of tea) . I do prefer deeper cuts like million miles, illusion,or speakerphone even the red blooded woman single was great but didn’t get any airplay here . I do prefer music from u.k over u.s but you seem to have to really search out girls aloud, Saturday’s, years and years to actually hear it cause u.s radio doesn’t give it a chance
In Europe radio stations are not giving her much airplay anymore either actually. Though imo she does deserve airplay. I haven’t heard Padam on the radio not even once in the Netherlands where I’m from…

I can confirm Kylie is wonderful on and off camera she’s always been very down to earth and genuine. Genuine being the key word! That woman doesn’t have a bad bone in her body x
