For me this was Kentucky basketball, what the fans want to see. The talking heads say we're hard on our team and coach, not true , we adore and pamper them, but we expect them to don that Jersey and be ready to give 110% . You see that''s what we demand, the "Unforgettable s" proved that long ago. They never won it all, they struggled to win what they did, but they did win they fought for every inch, every game. There is no Cat fan that doesn't smile at the mention of the "Unforgettable s", in terms of fondness I actually believe they out weigh the "Untouchables" , possibly the greatest NCAA team of all time. We don't accept Vandy type games, that was dreadful, ugly, lazy, uncalled for, the Tennessee game was some redemption, now take Auburn to the wood shed.
Also because Tennessee has nobody to throw it to in the post. I thought Kentucky played a little softer on the 3 point line and sagged into the paint last night because they have been getting beat off the dribble so much and without Butler it likely was going to be worse if they kept trying to play the same way.
Credit to Kentucky by all means, but Tennessee absolutely had a choice to be more patient and take better shots. On many possessions, they didn't even attempt to go inside or take it to the hoop. No one forced the Vols to take 45 3s.
Bad matchup ???? I had been preaching the opposite for days and predicted that Ky would take advantage of their height and shooting and that Tennessee’s number one defense isn’t capable of defending great 3pt shooters. Tennessee is a great team but they’re a little overrated. I predicted Ky would win, and they did it exactly the way I said they would.
Got sick of his success? What an ignorant comment. That’s the opposite of reality. No clue who you are, but you don’t have a clue about Kentucky, Calipari and the fanbase. Just click-bait talking points.

As much as I hate to say this, I dont think Ky will make a deep run in the tourny. I expect a first or second round loss. I know they have beet a lot of ranked teams and probably teams they should have lost to(on paper). But they lose to teams they should absolutely stomp(again on paper).
Clownish take. Kriisa hurt, two straight losses to ranked opponents with starters (Butler, Carr) hurting, then they beat Tenn on the road without those two starters. If this team gets healthy, they are a National Title contender. Get your eyes checked.
@@brokenvessel8886 Lol. The irony of insulting someone else's opinion as clownish and then calling KY a national title contender. Nice win. Let's be real tho.
Pope does more with less…Cal did less with more.
Got sick of his success? What an ignorant comment. That’s the opposite of reality. No clue who you are, but you don’t have a clue about Kentucky, Calipari and the fanbase. Just click-bait talking points.
Before the win, these losers are, "LIEK DA OMG DA KENTUCKY IS DA SUK!". Emotional women have better takes
Bro the said expectations were low. Must not be a Kentucky basketball fan.
Ever hear of Pat “Starting from Scratch” Kelsey, bro?
Did you not hear them mention him? It was in the beginning of this. ACC compared to SEC is very different. Mark Pope has a win against the best team in the ACC.
@@dredennis113 and the 2nd best.
No pack like Vol pack
As much as I hate to say this, I dont think Ky will make a deep run in the tourny. I expect a first or second round loss. I know they have beet a lot of ranked teams and probably teams they should have lost to(on paper). But they lose to teams they should absolutely stomp(again on paper).
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Who asked?
Clownish take. Kriisa hurt, two straight losses to ranked opponents with starters (Butler, Carr) hurting, then they beat Tenn on the road without those two starters. If this team gets healthy, they are a National Title contender. Get your eyes checked.
@brokenvessel8886
Amen!
@@brokenvessel8886 Lol. The irony of insulting someone else's opinion as clownish and then calling KY a national title contender.
Nice win. Let's be real tho. Tennessee is a good but flawed team that literally set a school record for missed 3s last night. This series is weird...Vols/Cats tend to beat each other on the road. KY did it last year against a better Tennessee team and weeks later was out of the NCAA in the first round.
Idk if dude's gonna be right, but it's certainly possible. A helluva lot more likely than KY winning the championship.
