It's been theorized that Jason doesn't harm the kids because has a soft spot for children since he was one himself when he (almost) drowned and can sympathize with them. The likely real-world reason for why Jason doesn't kill the kids is because they, like most horror movies, didn't want to show children being murdered. Killing off kids in movies is generally considered to be taboo. It does happen, but not too often.
Man! Back when they actually shot at night and used strategic lighting to see what’s goin on….. now they just adjust the levels via computer programs and you can barely see what’s going on….
And people say Kane is the best Jason 🤔 Some things are just backwards as fuck 😄 Graham was a much better zombie Jason and it so obvious. Kane didn't have that badass power walk nor did he give him any character. Arguably part 6 is the last great Friday the 13th film. Some might say the scariest. I know its definitely up there and nothing Kane has played in can match it.

But turning Jason into a monster was a stupid move he looked good in.part 2 and 3, the Final Chapter when Tommy smashes the machete thru his head, well that should have been that, but i guess low budget slasher movies keot going.
