Arsenal’s frailties in these games I believe are influenced by their lack of European success. But I don’t think it’s being considered that basically their entire squad and manager have never stepped foot in the champions league before. That inexperience showed in their away legs from the start of the champions league, but to say they ghost in big games is ignoring how successful they’ve been against Liverpool, City, and co in the league this season. The fans bought in to their own success.

Real Madrid put 4 goals behind city’s net when they had to plus apart from city’s goal and haaland header hitting the bar, tell us what significant shots city made. Instead they kept holding the ball and passing the ball too much unnecessary instead of attacking directly. Madrid had no need to attack cos they were in the lead and had they needed a goal or goals to qualify they would have pulled up to score as they have done severely in the past
