Run Nitty is one of the best battlers of all time. Right now he’s pretty much universally recognized as a top 3-5 battler. All time with him is weird bc battle rap still has their pioneers at the top of most of these lists. Nitty is definitely top 10 all time worthy though.

I’m telling you right now dog, most of the bars in battle rap are then names of the opponent or referencing old battles that happened. So to understand certain bars just means you have to watch more battle rap. But i appreciate this raw reaction. It reminds me of when i started watching. Salute to you. Also who’s the best is all subjective. I’m from the west coast so i think rum nitty and geechi are top two right now. Then you have tay roc, surf, chess, nu jersey twork. Its whoever you like more. But don’t feel bad for not knowing certain bars because they are usually something that happened in other battles or happened within the culture. there’s still a little bit to go for the undeniable sense imo, but Rum is a lowkey GOAT & has a case when it’s all said & done. now realistically i see an argument for 5-10 on an all-time list. but he tops all punchers no doubt, there’s very few that can beat his style & performance when he’s on point (a peak Twork or maybe Chess type performance being the exception imo) and he’s got a sleeper run on his resume. 2 bar or 8+ bar setups, it’s like how you want it? personals/name flips, to even his rebuttals that exemplify his strengths. ima scholar so it’s Gun Titles for me everyday 😂 but his Gun Lines is bar none!!
