I’ve been playing the game for years. You don’t have to pay a single penny in the game to get everything with relative ease if you do well. After a good match, since the game is VERY generous with its PvZ Coin rewards for finishing matches, you can likely get 2 packs, and it’s always fun to see what new items you’ll get. And unlike most games with a 'card' system, Garden Warfare doesn’t give you duplicates. Every pack, even if you don’t get any customisation, gives you incredibly useful items: more potted plants / summonable zombies, and level up cards. The level up cards you get from normal packs are very overpowered, as a single pack can give you 7 of them. I have everything in the game, all my classes are max level, I have most customisation and I’m over level 230, and I haven’t spent anything since buying the game, because I’ve had so much fun playing and I’ve been so rewarded for my skill that I’ve not felt the need to. I’m not even kidding when I say that PvZ: Garden Warfare is one of the most fairly balanced, most fun games of all time. I mean, which other game lets you unlock a new variant for just 5,000 more coins than what you’d get in 2 good matches?
And the same thing applies to GW2 besides the dumb gold silver and gem varients of items

0:13 ok but to give EA credit (for once ik), they actually made a good system. You only have to play a few full games in order to get one pack that insta unlocks a character. So if you’re a regular player it’s not hard to get everything

@@jackeag4295 idk about the micro transactions themselves. I was more so saying that they made the game in a way that you can basically get everything without paying a penny by just playing every day for a few hours.
They actually added micro transactions right after they dropped support and updates for the game

@Thi_Usi yes, because it's too been years since I've played the game at all and small details like the correct word that isn't even read that often in game, is not what I think of as an important knowledge of the game. Therefore I obviously wouldn't know the correct word to use, also it was like three or four A.M. and I didn't really care to even finish the video as I used to play Garden Ops on Insane difficulty quite often and was pretty good at it. Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk on why your reasoning isn't solid and why tf would I lie about play GW for years and if I did, let alone call out something as micro as the correct use of a Sombrero Bean Bomb.

The funny thing is that he chose to spend money instead of grinding. Its very easy to level up and collect coins to upgrade the toxic pea. The first pvzgw is very generous with the coins rewarded (like 4000 coins per games) and the card packets are low cost (most expensive card packet is 4000) But he wants to speedrun his wallet instead lmao

@@IamaPERSON it was kind of his fault, this is one of the only ea games that you can unlock everything by just playing it, and the multiplayer modes are actually fun and give a lot of coins, he is missing out by spending 40-50 dolars to skip it

It's off-line mode means you can (and should because f EA and loot boxes) quite easily just use a cheat engine to get the coins needed, just turn them off before jumping online again.
To be fair, garden warfare 1 isn't that bad with in-game purchases

"Interesting Speedrun" that just asks you for your credit card information before you do a run.
But he literally didn’t need to do that. If he just played the game before hand and actually got the money then he wouldn’t need to pay. Or he could’ve just not used the toxic pea and used a default character

That would be pretty cool - it'd be super awkward to be a pea shooter, since they shoot from the head.
Pea shooters for arms would make much better VR gameplay - sure it'd be kinda weird, but hey, PvZ is already weird eh?

I played this game when it first dropped. I’m now level 325 and I still enjoy playing it.
You may be wondering, why fire pea shooters?
Well, you can see that when zombies are hit with the fire peas, they have little numbers that float off of them. This lets you know where they are in the map and you can run over to them and kill them almost instantly. This just keeps tabs on all of them so the rounds don’t go on forever.
Although I use snapdragons more than pea shooters when I put defense up, fire peas are very good in late rounds because the fire does extra damage to metal, the door zombies, etc.
Also, the toxic pea shooter is by far the most overpowered plant in the game, and if you open a pack when you first start playing, you’ll most likely win every fight against a zombie.
(As long as it’s not against an engineer lol)
I’ve played for years too, I’m lvl 260 on Xbox 360. Love this game!!! I think that you'd be better off choosing Berry Shooter or Peashooter for Garden Ops speed running.
This is one of my top 5 childhood games, and I still love it.

The thing about this game is the fact that you don't have to pay real money for the lootboxes, you can just play zombie engie for like an hour and have enough for a character pack

I remember playing this game and it actually being super fun. The only "special" skin I ever got was the plasma pea shooter. But then my PS3 stopped working...RIP plasma pea. You will be missed.

I LOVE THIS GAME
I used to speedrun this years ago. And I was really into it during the routing of the maps and finding the best strategy. I haven't looked into any of it since I quit the game. Toxic Pea makes total sense as it is by far the best splash damage dps dealer, but the fire pea shooter pots... That's a new one. I remember we used to have 1 doom shroom for the big wave zombies (coffins and doors) and Bamboo pots for defending it. Also there's another garden spot on the map where you can glitch on top of a rock formation by using the super jump out of the zombie's reach. Which makes it super easy to DPS the bosses with the pea gatling.
This strategy was used for solo Hard, Crazy mode. I was never really interested in the easy mode as... it was just too easy lol

Hello Friend Garden warfare Master here i would recommend using the Plasma peashooter as his DPS is much Higher than Toxic Pea And if you Prefire a wave as it spawns it pretty much Instantly kills them, also makes killing Bosses and Graves much faster

The "guy with weird clothes" is the vampire wich is one of the hardest bosses because of his ability to spawn more zombies and teleportes along with a powerful beam

I’m getting sick of this. Garden Warfare is literally the least pay to win shooter game. From just three good matches of Gardens & Graveyards you can get enough PvZ Coins to buy a character pack. Which is a pack that gives you a character variant instantly. Don’t trash talk this game, ESPECIALLY this game, without having played it.
