Sad to see that he wasn't paying attention much, this actually is a really good ViDoc and a lot of people that were doubting TFS are quite hyped now, I certainly am! Though the story has been (very) turbulent at times, I am still in love with the entire Light and Dark saga!

I'm sure for him it's a bit difficult because he's a very interactive streamer. Most of the time he's looking at chat and stuff like that. He's also not a super big destiny fan in general as far as I can tell. He's also just not a very expressive person lol. He had a positive reaction to the gameplay overview a while back so I'm sure he's at least a little excited.

True, but considering who he is, the Reacts/Moist Reviews he does, and how much his community trusts him... He can't afford to hype a game whose company that Charlie knows firsthand has let down it's playerbase time and time again. He has to play it safe, but he was optimistic with his words right after saying that, and WILL be playing Final Shape to at least give it an honest chance and critique. I'm just entertained to see a big Creator playing Destiny 2, as it always brings new/casual players (back) in, and I enjoy meeting & helping these Guardians since they're usually a lot more chill than people who've never stopped playing.

I play destiny religiously since D1 Beta and I wasn't excited at all by these ViDocs, they didn't show anything

It's a bit obnoxious, but to be fair he was extremely let down by Lightfall considering Bungie sponsored him to stream the campaign on its launch day

The only real 'comments' he made were "don't be lightfall" and that the pyramid units language design was cool. It didnt seem like he was commenting or paying much attention at all outside of that though, talking about random other things with his chat instead....

@@morsperferro3419 I replayed Shadowkeep with a friend because it's free to play atm and it was extremely boring besides entering the Pyramid. Lightfall while not the best had some interesting moments and concepts.
Shadowkeep and D1 vanilla was bad, but that doesn’t mean Lightfall has a good story (or A STORY for that matter). We know bungie can cook with stories like in Taken King, Forsaken, Witchqueen and some of the seasons and lore. And compared to them lightfall campaign was nothing

Shadowkeep was bad for sure, but at that time they just split up from Activision and still figuring out themselves how to be fully independent with much more minimum resources. What I don't understand is that how they're from making one of their best work Witch Queen dlc to a garbage called Lightfail in just a year span.
Yes, let's harp on LightFall like it didn't happen 16 months ago. Final Shape is looking good and all he can say over and over is LightFall.

I don't blame him for not caring as much, this series has choked on things more than it should've, it has set up events on golden platters for an easy W, and fell flat.
The end cutscene for seraph was one of the greatest stage setters this franchise has ever had, and they spit on our faces
That... when i had a sudden disconect with the game... the seraph final cutscene had my blood pumping...it was their time to blow it out of water, but nah

People seem to forget. Lightfall wasn't meant to be filler. Lightfall was suppose to be the FINALE with the final shape being the filler that was suppose to wrap up all the loose ends. At some point that direction was changed and lightfall became something to expand the story before final shape. That being said Lightfall was 100% rushed. The first sign for me wasn't the writing but the first mission, bungie talked about how the witch queens mission structure will be the structure for future campaigns where it was encountered based and the first mission lacked.
Lightfall was always meant to be the final expansion for this saga. The scale got too big, and so they delayed it, and renamed it "Final shape". The Lightfall we got was most likely made in a very short time period, and so was filler.
How was Lightfall bad? We got to go to Neptune, got introduced to the people/Nimbus/Rohan there, got a new darkness power, got a lot of witness action, callus is always great, the best raid ever, etc.

The only reason anyone is going to play TFS is because of the prismatic trailer that introduced everything concerning the new subclass, the new enemy faction and everything else lol. Before that, everyone hated Bungie. Into the Light barely made a dent.

Honestly, I've been so detached from bungie and destiny for the better part of the last year but I do actually feel sort of hyped for this. Maybe it's finally getting to see the finale after a 10 year journey. I don't know.

I hate these vidocs sometimes because this is an example of bungie yapping , they can’t wait till release for us to explore the game, they tell us the mission , what the witness wants , that he is gonna be angry everytime we resist. Meanwhile you got eldenring radio silent with only two trailers for shadow of the erdtree and it’s so cool we are chomping at the bit to know as much as we can , meanwhile bungie just shows it’s hand and it’s not very interesting or informative .
They’ve said before they’re keeping a lot of stuff close to their chest with this expansion so I don’t this is a know too much situation.

People don’t complain when DE has a livestream exploring Warframe every other week.
They kinda have to because people weren’t buying the expansion. Right now all the trailers and vidocs are Bungie's attempt at earning player trust once again.

I agree that compared to D1, D2 at launch had its issues and many players were disappointed. However, in my experience, D2 has improved significantly in most aspects over time. For example, the build crafting and the power fantasy that comes with it, new subclasses and supers, in-game LFG, loadouts, reducing the number of currencies and resources and the new content they added over the years.
The areas that still seems to hold it back is the onboarding process for new or returning players, which can definitely be frustrating and confusing and the vaulting of older content. But overall, I think Bungie has made a lot of positive strides with D2.
