- Oxford United have new owners and its much need clarity and excitement for Oxford Fans to finally get this sorted. Obviously Ian has delusions of grandeur and thinks they will be in the Premier League in 3 years
But lets summarise who has come in and what that might mean for OUFC. Hopefully this will mean that an increased player budget in the short term and in the long term a move away from the Kassam Stadium. What this means for Robinson too we can only speculate at the moment. After a bad start to the Sky Bet League One season this does feel like a welcome bit of positve news and hopefully the feel good factor will spread onto the players and Oxford Utd can move up the league.

I would not expect silly money to be spent on the playing budget this season. If and or when the stadium gets the green light they I would expect a bigger financial push

Not quite sure how to feel. He says the right things, but only time will tell. Naturally, I'm always cautious about owners as you never know what you're getting. The main concern is obviously the stadium given the lease ends in 2026 (I think). I'm going to be so happy the day we never have to see that car park again, even if it means ground sharing for a while.
Hi Harry, yeah it's good news that there is some clarity, but totally agree with you that moving out from the Kassam is a huge priority. I always try to be optimistic so am prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt that they will get it sorted

Hi Lewis, Yes there was a healthy dose of sarcasm in that statement. If we even got to the prem it would be a fantastic achievement but that seems light years away.
