Yup… lock Chad and P in a studio with nothing but a Triton and tell them to get to work lol. I can’t believe they refuse to go anywhere near their golden era sound anymore, synth or drum wise. Their style doesn’t work with the texture these newer synths have, and their sound was always jazz chord based. A heavy ass 808 can’t fit in a mix with those large 7th and 9th chords… it just doesn’t work.
